OPM, pete is the local (stockport) subaru service garage owner
he's done a lot for our members in the past, and I'd hope he'd bring a car with him to drive.
Your more than welcome to come along for the day, and I'm sure 1 or 2 of us wouldn't mind giving you a passenger ride.

There was one on the trackday I did at Oulton back in Jan. Track was very slippery and it looked like the car was a bit of a handful in those conditions. He spun a couple of times, his attempts to catch it failing on all occaisons, fishtailing all over the place.

Should be more fun that a boring old four wheel drive, however.

One of what?

Do you want your name down on Septembers as well Dai?

Pete is more than welcome,

OPM any spectators are welcome. It is just 10 cars (all singularly) on the track due to insurance reasons.

I have put my name down for both. The first date may be a problem due to work (the cheeky gets are asking me to do some for a change!) but i won't know until close to the date. I will pay for my place and if you cannot fill it when I cannot make it then my loss, not anyone else's.

Well a VTS is cheap motoring and theyre pretty quick an' all. Should be able to get a cheap one at an absolute snip. Bound to be fun on a track I bet, especially with a few handling/suspension mods...

The cup is ok but I really want something a bit bigger and perhaps a bit quicker. Considering CTR's at the moment, test-driving one tomorrow so we'll see what its like.

I take it u liked your test drive then, seeing as you made the purchase, nice 1 m8 .

On track they'll be just as fast as a scoob, had a play against my mates CTR in my last scoob and in a straight line it was neck n neck, just had him on pull off, only just though lol.

What colour?

'ello Tony, Yeah the test drive was good. They chucked me the keys and basically said come back when youve decided!

It didnt take me too long to be honest, very nice. I've gone for Cosmic Grey which should be quite similar to your RB5 colour (maybe a bit lighter). We can compare next time we meet up (hopefully before Curborough in september!!)

was it from Stuart Graham in Crewe by any chance? I test drove a cosmic grey from them a while ago and they did the same thing - heres the keys, come back when you're done. Good way to sell cars The car I drove had some rubbing strips down the side which I wasn't keen on, but the rest of the car was pretty sound.

Dead on Dave, it was the very same! They have been pretty well organised in getting the car turned round for tomorrow when I only signed for it on Sunday so looking forward to it now. Will hopefully be at the meet on sunday if youre about.

Is that what youve gone for Andy? Is your mind definately made up?

Also can heather come again on the september one? Shes getting an elise this weekend and wants to see if she can go round quicker than she did in the mx-5!

I'm happy to split my drives with her anyway if theres a numbers problem.
