was that you in the blue scooby with a lady? If so, I'm sorry if I didn't let on

Cracking day, big thanks once again to Andy_s for organising it. I believe you actually got a go round this time m8
Thanks to problemchild75 for letting me have a go of the rollerskate, even if I didn't manage to get it in the power band on my laps. I think I need the wide body version, with bigger seats
Commiserations to barnesy, I'll let him tell you why
Hope you got some good photos of my "gay" gold alloys Dave_A?
And thanks to everyone for coming along.
Most careful driver award goes to chris in the mg, my dad drives faster (he doesn't frequent this board, so we can take the p**s )
Run home was interesting, stuck behind barnesy for a while, as he wasn't in the mood for going to quick, but once past, soon caught chris up, then nightmare traffic getting thru whaley bridge
Got home for 18:30, tea, shower, bed, up at 21:00, work for 21:30

We'll have to keep an eye out on the excellent A515 in future, as the powers that be were out in force this morning

chris.
ps, I'll get some pics up in gallery once I've got em hosted

Yes Chris, got some quite good shots, haven't had time to take a proper look, but a quick scan showed one or two gems amongst the many blurred ones.

Will update the site this weekend with those photos that are any good. Couple of nice ones of Jamie's skate as well, none of him punting it off into the grass 43 times though! If you've got any you need hosting till tour website is up and running cross, send them to me.

T'was another great Curborough day for most of us, I managed not to brake any car parts, my tyres still have tread, and I can still feel the clutch, which was one of my concerns.

Feel sorry for stu, hopefully it won't sting too much, and the shoe leather will be saved too much hard work.

Dave

I think if you had timed it you would have seen that the "RACE" cars where a lot quicker! The single seater especially, the fastest time by the Sti was about 67s but the single seater did it in 50.5! the difference was it was been driven very smoothly.

He was pulled, so the speed is confirmed

on a side note, photos are going up on the site tonight of Chris and his gay gold wheels, so at least they'll be something to laugh at

Talking

Big thankyou to Andy S and all who joined in as you could probably tell I really really enjoyed myself and have decided the smacs trackdays are the best.
the inside of my car is full of grass and dirt (dont know how it got there ) and i think the tyres may have over heated and gone off or prehaps im now just throwing it into the rounabouts harder. time for some sticky ones I think.

the sunburn is killing me today but please put me on the reserves for sept and if anyone has any decent footage of my mischeif please let me have it and i will gladly cover costs.

Sorry OPM for the ignorance and to stu for the bad luck, hope it all works out. Chris I still have a radio let me know how you want me to get it to you.

Thanks again Andy I had a ball and I hope to see you all again on the next (dry) meet

Ps Andy if your out of pocket I will happily stump up a little extra as as it stands the day was a real bargainand mark the jury is out asto weather you are brave or stupid for coming out with me for my last few (COOL DOWN) laps.

Glad you had a good time pc75
Don't worry about the radio, just make sure it's turned off, and drop it at the next meet, maybe sunday evening?

Had to look hard for this post!

There hasnt been a new post yet for the September visit, but I need to drop out so figured I ought to do this sooner rather than later (only 3 weeks to go incredibly).

Sorry for the relatively short notice andy, but ive got too much work on at the moment, and unfortunately I cant justify any time off before the end of september.

I hope you have a good day again like the last time.
