This thing is dreadfully slow tonight!!!!!!!!!
Jamie how do you find getting in and out of your roller skate every day? How much of an improvement is it over a series 1 elise?
Just spent 1/2 hour cueing for fuel, was not panic buying I have to go to Hull for a funeral tomorrow!!

Super your welcome to a ride
IF YOU DARE AFTER MY TRAINING
Andy I love getting in and out of it every day the drive to work and bredbury roundabouts have never been so much fun. But in reality getting wet and creased can be a pain in the bum and as im getting older the dismount can be ammusing for passers bye but I can FALL in now like a true pro.
I have only driven a S1 once and can not really judge but as the miles and trackday tally mount up I wish I had got a 9k S1 instead. less money in the car definatly makes you faster
On the subject of the NOBLE I went out in it on Sat and can comfirm one will most certainly be cluttering my garage next if I can prize the Audi keys back off the missus. But my mate picked his up on Sat after never owning a preformance car before and drove it like he stole it (not a good idea 1000kg no TCS ABS and wet roads) and I gave him a week but he went one better and on sunday while he was at work lent it to his 24 yr old brother as a birthday treat. 45 mins later it was on a low loader on its way back to Christopher Neils after a row with a roundabout. The rough estimate today stood at £18k plus VAT it needs 3 wheels at £958 +VAT ea :0 for starters)

Holy crap, thats not a good start! Have to say though the last thing i would be doing with my Noble keys (not that I will ever afford one I dont suppose) is giving them to a young 'un to see how quickly he could crash the thing.

Does the "you bend it - you mend it" rule still apply?

Blimey, numbers are down for this one a little aren't they.
My wifes gran passed away this morning, not sure when the funeral is going to be, but I've got money on it being the 22nd. I ain't gonna hold my breath.

Sorry Guy's but I am having to cancel this one. Big apologies to those that had signed up but with only 3 confirmed Smacs runners and no one offering me a lift as my car is ill I am forced to cancel.
Chris TOTB if you phone dave patterson quick you could hire it yourself as it is now free on thurs.
Sorry to let everyone down, but I am quite down due to broken car and lack of interest (This event was over subscribed to start with!!!).
See you all soon
Cheers Andy

No worries Andy - hope the car is well soon.
Had a ride in a Honda engined Exige at Ty Croes (Anglesea) on Sunday. WOW!
The power, noise etc were increadible, and the guy driving knew his stuff. There were about 8 cars going around in unison (inc a couple of very fast Vectras) and I think we were the only ones not to spin off. Glad it was not my car!
Getting in and out was not as bad as I thought, but the ride is so much lower than mine which made it feel mental-fast.

sorry to have let you down andy, but after 2567 miles including the nurburgring, I'm all driven out now and also have no single days off left
I'll organise a run out one day mid-week soon, hope you can get your car sorted for then. Give me a bell if I can help with any transport issues,
chris.

Anyone fancy Cadwell on thurs instead?

we had a cracking time alround, and the ring was the icing on the cake to a whole week of mountain passes, fast a and b roads and autobarn storming. I was absolutly knackered after it all, but will never forget that trip, and all the good people who went on it
See you soon jamie, I'll organise a meet soon, but not this weekend, working
chris.

Ah well, looks like it'll be next year then for curborough. Hope you get your car sorted Andy.
Chris - any photos of the trip? I've probably missed a thread on it somewhere, but I've been too busy to actually do much surfing lately
Good luck in court Stu, I'll be thinking of you (been there, done that, know the feeling etc).
Cheers
