Have a look at an Anti-Lag system, for all your pops, bangs& flames ect, ect.

Does reduce engine life or so I`m told.

Have fun.

If just a centre de-cat gives you flames, your downpipe cat is probably knackered. Unburnt fuel should not be getting past a cat.
My car pops quietly - when the fuel ignites on hitting the sports cat. It doesn't flame, as the fuel doesn't get to the backbox.

If you have a full de-cat, it seems to be a bit of a lottery as to whether you get flames or not, based on the people that have posted here.

gonna go to H&S and try the de-cat route, see what happens 1st!!

worst ways i get MORE noise, possibly a bit more power and a lot higher fuel consumption

Just a thought but a good old backfire never harmed an engine in my experience

'Bouncing off the limiter' is a bad thing. AFAIK it works by cutting fuel and thus detting. I'm sure someone will be able to confirm it/correct me.
