Congrats mate - was a long wait but worth it in the end

When you get a chance can you get a pic zoomed out a bit so we can see the fascia and surround pls...

I have found out the unit is VDO Draytom model MS4150RS but its not configured to take the Intelegent maps just ordinary map cd

Actually what I was interested in is the single Din fascia !

On the cars withou satnav it's a double din unit and people normally get a forester pocket to convert to single din - this is a much better solution for the new dash..

Might link this thread in ICE if that's ok


Is it single din size mate - just to confirm !

Just ordered mine today from Allbrandsnew,hopefully picking it up in a couple of weeks(They are at the docks now waiting clearance).
Few sleepless nights ahead i think
Just got to sell me bike now to keep the missus happy!

just ordered subaru wrx wsrt special edition on 1/7/05 and yes cannot wait either and snap had to sell bike too keep better half happy!!!!!! should get car in few weeks

Great stuff lads looking forward to you getting yours they are fantastic. keep in touch we might be able to form a group on our own lol. oh BTW sympathise with me I waited 3 months almost to the day.

PS Oh contact me for finding you a map CD for the SatNav

PPS I kept my bike due to buying an import otherwise it would have had to go too

thanks on the map cd will contact when i pick up the keys .....
nice one on keeping bike i will have to try that excuse

Firstly the facia drops down to insert the cd behind

Secondly the EU imports are the same car as you would buy in the UK they are not restricted in any way. The japanese ones may be but they are fully sorted if imported by a reputable company

thanks for the information but.......the cars that came in this batch have not come with sat nav. went into motor depot (allbrandsnew) and they told me that no sat nav!!!!!
