Easily get a good low mileage ex demo car from a Volvo dealer way under £25k with a bomb proof warranty.

Autech Stagea estate? Remember reading about one once (!). Its the estate version of the Skyline R34, and the Autech version is the 'mildly modified' version. Can't really give you any more useful information though!

Don't discount the BMW 540i. A 4.4 V8 that handles and goes surprisingly well and you'll get 24mpg on average. A 4 year old will set you back about £15k with full dealer history and you can extend the warranty right up to 100,000 miles, so no running worries.
