Ok - the Rad has been bought from API and hopefully will be here by the weekend. I'm not too bad with a spanner but are there any pitfalls to be had fitting it? A fitting guide would be nice if anybody has one

Can take quite a while to get all the air out of the system. My mechanic adds fluid, runs engine a few minutes, stops engine, add more fluid, runs engine a few minutes, stops engine and so on until nearly all the air is out. then check the level for about a week as there seems to be more air hidden inside.
have the heater set to hot setting whilst filling

Will be down for some of that then
Which end do ya fill the system from? The usual filler thing or the silver tank thingy.
I've got the radiator removal sussed. I think it will be well under an hour, start to finish

I asked the same question not so long ago bud and was told
via the little bottle behind the headlight.
Takes a while but you do eventually get there.
Mix the coolant and water first though !!

Hi Brun
You fill it from the metal header tank infront of the turbo. When you cant get anymore in, run the engine a little(not too much to overheat it) then keep filling it up, when you cant get any more to go in top up the plastic expansion bottle near the headlight to full mark. Run car and check for leaks and monitor coolant temp dial. Keep filling header tank each day if it needs it.

3 bolts managed to snap due to being corroded to ****
Most of my time was spent trying to find my 13mm socket. The whole job has taken about an hour.
Thanks again guys
