I suggest we respond to them in a manner in which one Of JC's critics responded to him via letter:
Dear Transport 2000
You're a bunch of *****!
Yours,
SN
Sorry, but I can't think of anything more appropriate after their "you wouldn't watch a program that gives tips to burgulars" response. Being an academic, I've seen some spurious arguments before, but that's just...... you wouldn't credit it coming from people associated with Government.....but then again!
P.S. I get my Burglary tips from Crimewatch!! Here's a tip for any budding theives out there: just nick cars, cause in the unlikely event that you get caught, thanks to the governement expending time and our tax on morons like this, the courts are powerless to do much with you!
For the record: I always preferred Eric Idle!!

Transport 1650 is named after the 1650's, a decade in which Oliver Cromwell came to power in England. He banned Christmas because he felt that it was allowing the people to have too much fun, and when Parliament did not agree with his thinking, he abolished it and ran the country himself. Here at Transport 1650, we have high regard for Cromwell's achievements and strive to emulate his thinking.

Apparition,
Authoritarian organisations always suffer from loss of confidence in case they lose power. Thats exactly what you can expect from such a bunch, they aspire for complete control over the electorate in every respect-just like that book!
