I work at Heathrow, funnily enough managing noise issues! Arguments such as
"They shouldn't live by a god damn race track and expect there to not be noise??!!!" wont work I'm afraid. Its a growing problem, and will only spread to other areas.

Hell, thinking about it. There's some **** who lives by me with a racked off chavved MR2 with a straight through exhaust that makes 20 times more noise than a race track. The noise level come close to an F1 car, which is extremely loud by any standards

Plus it sounds crap...like a shagged MR2 with a missfire, no exhaust silencer and crap clutch control (pretty much what it is )

It's annoying, he drives round and round and round and round, you can here it from almost 1/2 mile away when he hits the main road and guns it. One day I swear if I've drunk enough beer I'll "disable" his car permanently

But the point being, I did not move here expecting to hear this singular crap car making such a din. Most people would say that I'm being quite reasonable.

But if I moved next to a racetrack and expected peace and quiet - then what kind of sanity must I have? It would be completely unreasonable.

 

is that why theyve just put speed cam,s on the M4 near castle combe then....

i bet the people complaining drive jag,s and bemmers at 100mph on the motorway aswell lol,,,,
