m5 with all its esp nonsence, where would you be with out it?????????
You can't believe for one minute that a Scooby is more desireable than an M5. I do agree to a certain extent that some of the more extreme models of the Scooby are technically better under certain driving circumstances over the M5, but we are talking about desireability. That's my preception of how this post started. Then you get some f4nnies who have to put in a post, about how the scooby would have it in the twisties, or spend 20k on a scoob and you'll get the same performance. Grow up folks. I cannot fathom how some of you ***** have even been allowed on the road. Although this is a supberb site, and I know it's dedicated to Subaru's. This particular page is marked "Other Marques", get it guys!

See ya at Japfest.
I agree that Skylines are overrated by some, but thats true of all cars I think.

if if if but but but, jeez that car is uniquie and would turn a few heads thats for sure.infact its a @~@~@@? monster. it would get to 175 mph much quicker than a spec c .common lads just honour a good motor.there are better cars than imprezas out there and this is just one of them.

We're not talking about any old Skyline here. This is the Holy Grail of GTR's - the Nismo Z-Tune. Truly a legend in the making.
Read the amazing Evo report soon.

On the other hand Subaru Imprezas are far more recognisable and will get a greater response it terms of reaction (desirability or otherwise) compared to a car that the majority of people think is just another 5-series (even I realise there is no comparing build quality etc, but you'd expect that for a 60k car vs. 25k car).
As for the GTR - that's pretty much at the top of my wish list!

In terms of the Skyline. I would have one everyday of the week over a Scooby bar a UK 22b. But I think that this particular Skyline is the nads!!

was reading autocar the other day, had an article about street racing in japan, saying its not really happening too much now but it had an interview with the supposed best racer, driving his 993 turbo, he said porsche is now king.... only because they don't make skylines anymore. Apparently a time he set on a windy section 50mph limit section of the ring road has never even been come close to ever, what was being driven when he set it ... R34 they are fantastic cars!
