What suspension have you got on there Shaun? It's sitting much lower than standard I'm sure.

Andy,

Standard Spec-C struts and I presume standard springs. Don't forget it is on 18's and it maybe the camber on the lawn making it lean.... not sure.

Regards,
Shaun.

Shaun, you've "blinged" your "c"
If you have problems living with a standard STi then you dont want a Spec C, they have harder suspension to start with, and its amazing how quickly the fuel can go down but you dont need much to make them quick, an STi panel filter on mine with a H&S back box (same size as original) and my car quite happily now pushes 315.8bhp
The RE070's can take some getting use to, they are excellent in the dry, not bad in the wet but a bit dodgy on the greasy stuff, so take it easy on the roundabouts and get to know how the car handles before you open her up too much, but the noise can be intrusive if your not use to it (i have 2 cars so it doesnt bother me, plus driving series 3 landrovers for years means that even the "C" feels comfortable ) and ive found that the suspension now doesnt feel as hard/bouncy as it use to feel when the car was new (just under 12k on the clock now) so i think ive worn it in nicely though my tyres are getting towards the limit, and at 120 quid fitted all in they aint bad vfm

There are too many of these around now , so you have to be different!

If you think it has been blinged now.... you wait for another 3 months!

Shaun.

Pitzi,
Spot on with the wheels.

Depending on how things progress with work on the car these wheels may have to come off in favour of some ultra light weight 16's or 17's (dependant on what tests show concerning the handling modifications planned).... the trouble with that is that I have AP 6 pots on the front with 350+mm rotors (these were on the car when bought and I havent measured them yet, so not sure if they are 350's or 380's), so would have to result to smaller discs perhaps.

Regards,
Shaun.
