He will contend, predictably, that by responding to his posts we *are* taking the bait. However, what he consistently fails to recognise is that with every exchange he in turn takes our bait. So to try and "win" such an event is an exercise in futility, and to claim success is a demonstration of delusion.

Although, having said that, I will admit to a sense of triumph when the logic fails and the insults fly. If he can't wind someone up he changes his scoring system to count the amount of insults and profanities he can squeeze into one post, like a child turning the chess board around 180 degrees as a futile attempt to escape imminent checkmate!

However, today I will take my "gold star" and my "bravo" in the good spirit in which it was intended, so a votre sante D70!

Back on topic (albeit briefly I suspect) my other half and my dad are both on here and, over the years I've met lots of really nice people who have gone on to become good friends. I've also met a lot of wierdos but that's another story

I was asked by a friend how many of these "internet types" I'd met, they didn't quite believe me when I reeled off around 50 odd names. Did not occur to them that I used to meet at least 15 - 20 of them every month at various meets and so got to know them.

I've met loads of Scoobynetters, though in many cases it's just been for a chat at a meet or show. There's probably a dozen or so that I've got to know properly in person.
