Interesting point Dipster .... indeed, the Mechanic that did mine said that no damage would be done if it didn't fly off the rolleres - and it didn't!

Is it another SN myth??

ps. I demanded that it be road tested however!

Exactly, if the center diff was under strain it would cause resistance and push the car off the rollers just like the guy said.

I do wonder whether the Subaru Main Dealers just whack it on the 2 wheel rollers?

When they do the brake test on rollers, the rollers are going for less than half a minute, at a very slow speed. I can't see it doing any damage.

That's that sorted once and for all.
Roller brake tests are OK.
Towing on one axle is not OK.

I'm glad that my nightshift has been constructive
