Think what hes meant to be saying here is.....
Due to the engine being different with equal length headers etc and the low friction VF36 turbo (VF37 on the other MY03 onwards JDM STi's) that these engines are designed for torque (as ive seen on my MY03 Spec C which recorded 331lbs of torque and 312bhp) so shows you what they can do on the Jap map (mine is not mapped for uk fuel, has the original jap map).

I like the low-level WRX style spoiler on mine. Confuses the hell out of people when they see the STi badge but no STi spoiler ... carbon fibre ones a bit too fast and furious for me (prefer driving fast and furious than looking like I've spent my months wages down at Halfrauds).
