As for damage speculation, a head on car crash at 20mph is quite sufficient to completely destroy both cars to effect of the pics I've seen

I'm not talking about blame - but you seem insistent on replying to my posts pointing blame which that is so blatently obvious - which is why I asked to take a step back for moment.....Oh FFS I give up- your not worth it
Talk to yourself - or get some reading lessons

Doesn't really matter who was to blame for the crash, they were arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident involving an injury and suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

From the look of the SLR it was an offset frontal collision. The driver's sides of both cars would have taken the brunt of the impact.
Just as well it WAS a Golf I s'pose.... build quality and all that.

'This would suggest to me that said golf driver may have not been wearing a seatbelt or was suffering from Osteogenesis imperfecta!!!'
Or perhaps the poor sod was holding a steering wheel at the time which probably came forward with some force breaking his arms, that was my first thought, also the accident looked like it was offside to offside so the drivers side on both cars took the brunt of the impact and guess what nearly two tonnes of exclusive, high precision,
composite materials and momentum won over a mass market hatchback, the driver was probably saved by airbags and the Golf being a reasonably sturdy construction, could have been a young mum and a couple of kids in a Saxo or Metro.
http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-Mer...LR-McLaren.htm
So Shark Man, a step back has been taken back but all the evidence points to NAS (Not Another Smash) being a complete ****, bad driving, nearly killing someone and then being thick enough to run away despite the fact he was driving an extremely rare car (cant Imagine theres another in Sheffield) with a very distinctive registration plate. He seems to have a lot of 'previous' with regards to performance cars so it doesnt take a genius to work out who it was.
I think, had he not been a very formiddable boxer, he would have been dragged from his car and battered by now, must be annoying for your average Sheffield resident to put up with that flying around without any regard to your safety.
Will be interesting to see the court case, who was driving, will one of his mates be paid a vast ammount to take the rap and do what will probably be time in prison or will we see a picture of the smug get smiling as he comes out of court having got off on a technicality ?
I have posted a couple of threads before about massively powerful cars being produced and the only qualification to own one is having the money to pay for it but no one replied, I suspect as time goes on there will be more (and more serious) high profile crashes involving mega performance cars which will end up spoiling performance car motoring for the rest of us when Labour get back in and start limiting power outputs.

Why do people love to jump to conclusions?
Why do they love to blame the rich?
Is it because theyre jealous....?
On some other forums, theyve started talking about loony drivers predominantly being Asians and Prince Naseem being a perfect example - Not realising that Prince Naseem is an ARAB and not an asian.....flippin ignorant monkeys...
The Police is investigating the incident....and whoever is at blame will hopefully suffer the consequences.

The bloke is a prize pr!ck and I was loving it when he got the **** smacked out of him by Morales (....I think it was Morales anyway).
Either way, he's a *** end.

I've seen a person drive like a complete tosser around the centre of sheffield in a 30 zone, just by the town hall. Full on tyre smokin action in a Merc - not an SLR tho... It could have been someone else who looks like Naseem, driving NAS 1, but I doubt it.

I see him flying round Sheffield like a **** end regularly, hope he gets the book thrown at him for this stupid act. If he'd waited an extra 5 seconds or so he's got 300-400m of straight road to overtake safely on. Nobrot!

There's two sides to every story (Three if you're Tony Blair).

Blokes a ******* tosser, and should go down, but I bet he gets away with this - it'll probably end up with the Golf driver going to prision after Nassem claims the Golf crashed into him on purpose in a racist attack or something

if the owner cant prove/disprove who was driving ....then the owner gets it. Its his car, and he takes responsibility for it.....only fair.
Why would he run, if he has nothing to hide...???

Naseem is a w@nker...no doubt about it.
I hope he gets sent down for a long time....and the golf driver sue's him for damages.

The reason I started this thread was I see Nas in his cars round my way quite often as his Mother in Law lives near by. He drives like most of the Nova/Corsa crowd which is about where he woud be without his boxing money.Trouble is the speeds are far higher when you have cars as fast as his.
