Here's hoping the injured make a full and speedy recovery, and that the guilty party/parties get an attack of conscience and own up and take the blame.

The SLR was overtaking a Mondeo at the time and I doubt the Mondeo was doing 10mph.

I have no doubt at all that the driver of the SLR was driving it like a **** - the only real question is who was driving ?
The nas-fans-innit who seem to think their hero couldn't have been involved bought out my sarcastic comments. I know sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but some of the comments on this thread could only be combatted with sarcasm or "Stop talking out of your ****" responses others have used .

I am no fan of anybody who leaves the scene. It's pathetic to do so. What I still maintain is none of you guys know the facts and he has been convicted before he is even proved to be involved. I am just trying to get you guys to think slightly away from 'he's scum so he's guilty'. You dont even know him. You are judging him on a Boxing image - that is all hype and not the true characters - I do not believe he is like that in real life.
If he was driving and is found guilty of running away from the scene for no good reason then he should be done for all he can be.

Some c**t drives like a knobend and nearly kills an innocent victim.
They then don't come clean and tell the coppers what c**t did it.
They're all c**ts !

to be honest, he wants to get sent down (presuming it was him who was driving) for leaving the scene but some people on here crack me up, scooby drivers are the worse Ive seen.... Been to a few scooby meets and was astonished at the appauling driving... stupid speeds can be accepted in the right place but Ive seen many a scooby driver in convoy driving at silly speeds WAY too close, no signalling, weaving in and out on the motorway etc. I can only be glad I was not a driver not part of the convoy in the area. Ive been to many a reno 5 meet before and to say the average age of the driver is alot younger in a car classed by many a scooby driver as a boy racer car the attitude is 10x better than that of the average scooby driver IMO....
Many people quick to judge from a BBC news report... may aswell read the daily star.

Couple of points
The guy is a known **** (fact)
Previous driving history (that I know as fact)
Destroyed a Ferrari on the M18
Destroyed 2 Subaru’s – one was a 22b (hanging offence by any stretch of the imagination)
Put yourself in the position of owning a super car like the one destroyed, would you let a mate drive it ??
Would you run away / leave the scene of an accident of this magnitude?
If no single person admits to driving will they all go down ?

Another point Hamed was always a sh1te boxer. Picked easy fights with journeymen opponents like Ingle (one of the best he faced as well).
Everyone at the gym I went to in Brighton used to say wait till he meets a useful South American. He did and he lost.
The guy is a big mouthed, big headed pr1ck. I hope this costs him a lot of money or with any luck some jail time.

ok as a boxer (admitedly amateur, but still fairly handy!, lets have a few facts here)
i dont know hamed personly as im sure no one on here does so its a bit silly posting personal things about him. He was or is an amazing boxer, he had unbelievable speed and ludicrous hand speed. his one down fall was he had no lateral body movement and was easy to hit if you could score with a long range jab or straight right. As a boxer i realised long before the barrera fight that he would come un done against a countewr puncher. It is all to do with styles, if someone can counter (dodge) your attack and catch you coming in it negates any power you have . I have good footwork and very quick hands but I have been picked off by a counter puncher in sparring
I hope justice is done but i wait until i know all the facts about this accident before i make any judgements

1. Don't care if he's a great boxer
2. Don't care if he's an Arab or Muslim or a Martian
3. Don't care if he's a celebrity and worried
4. Don't care if the Golf driver wasn't wearing a seat belt
If that c**t ran into my wife whilst proving what a small ***** he's got he would be very sorry now (and looking for police protection).
And if there were three c**ts all protecting each other they'd all be in big trouble !

wow
what an outpouring of bile and hate
i love it when people jump the gun and post about what they would do if etc
i guarantee if 99 percent of the population even raised their voice to a professional boxer , never mind a hand they would be spanked severely. Its the differnce between throwing a bullet and shooting one. If hamed is guilty of perverting justice then i hope he is punished however i find it distastefull that so many people are presuming guilt without any evidence.

And if Some ***** knew who did it and wasn't co-operating I'd find a way to show him the error of his ways.
Hamed has shown he's no match for 20 stones in the past .

I understand that ofcourse, you cannot judge a man based entirely on media coverage. However, you can end up (well anyone with common sense) with a rough idea of what sort of person they are and/or remind you of.
I watched a documentary afew years ago, which followed him around through his training and private life) I got the impression that he was an arrogent a$sehole. He seemed the sort of guy to show off, crave attention and treat people like the cr$p. He had to be surrounded by 'boot-lickers' just to make him feel good.
The accident in question perfectly fits the impression I already had of his character. It was obviously his car, so, you would have thought that he'd have known what sort of machine the SLR is, and that giving the keys to your 'mate' to take it for a spin, is not really a good idea.
He WAS showing off, f$cked up, and did a runner. He had no respect for himself, his passengers and any other road user. (as he has shown everyone with hisin his, shall we say, auto mis-haps) Hardly the actions of saint!
