Its the differnce between throwing a bullet and shooting one. If hamed is guilty of perverting justice then i hope he is punished however i find it distastefull that so many people are presuming guilt without any evidence.

He may have run home for many reasons - I dont know why he ran home. But life as a celebrity is different, and he is still young. The point is he can hardly have run away in order to avoid detection can he ? The car makes it obvious who was driving. Most of you guys on here seem to be calling a guy you have never met all sorts of things. As others have said there are always atleast 2 stories to these things - you believe everything you read in the press ? He lived close so maybe went home to get some help ? Who knows ?

but really,he left the scene potentially leaving someones father/son/mother whoever,to die. There is no defending him on that point alone.

I think what is clear is that everybody is using this accident as an opportunity to slag the guy off, when in actual fact we should have done a thread along these lines a long time ago.
As for being a good boxer, so what, never understood the desire to beat another bloke up/get beaten up for no apparent reason (apart from money). Alright you get fit but you can do that without being punched about the head, plus you dont have to hang mini boxing gloves from your cars rear view mirror to proove what a double hard b4stard you are

boxing is nothing to do with "being hard"
i live and breath boxing (and footy actually thinking about it)
i think anyone who actually knows me would say im one of the quietest most meek individuals you would wish to meet, people box because it is a fun sport not because it is an oportunity to hurt somone or to demonstrate how "hard " you are
anyway i feel for whoever was in this crash and hope he recovers and the truth comes out. If hamed or his friends were to blame then i hope this is discovered.

EXSCOOBY,I had a 'mate' (we ll a mate of a mate) who was into boxing and he was a complete knobber and so were a few of his freinds, I suppose I am basing my opinion on that but it got difficult when he beat the living crap out of several hapless drunks in club toilets, outside clubs and wherever else he met any resistance. Whenever you disagreed with the ***** he would do some 'moves' to remind you that he could batter you any time.
So not everybody who boxes will be like that but my experience with him and his cronies was not good.

Who'd want to be successful in the UK, everyone just wants to see you 'brought down to size'. The Germans invented the word , the British live it. Schadenfreunde.....
I'm not able to comment on what happened at the accident but its clear from this post and many others involving 'personalities' that its always a great thing to see someone who's made it 'coming a cropper'.
Bottom line is that Naz made a lot of money and fame for himself in what is a very tough environment, good luck to him. Incidents like yesterday happen everyday, its not nice its not fair or whatever but it happens.
Whatever happened in this case I suspect he'll get fair and level treatment at the hands of the courts, same as 99% of folks out there do.

Thank god some sense has arrived on this thread. Such hatred for a guy nobody actually knows and who was a World Champion we should be proud of (and most of the people in Sheffield I know are proud). I also am not willing to just slag a successful person off on the basis of envy and rumours.
The facts will come out and hopefully he will be dealt with fairly like anybody else.

To an extent I am a little jealous of his success, as I am ANY person that has "made it".
The bloke is a prize prat though, he really is.

I can't comment on what he is like as a person but his driving is well known to most people around Sheffield and to those that have seen him around Mansfield.
You can drive like a **** in a Focus or Mondeo and no one remembers you. Drive like a **** in Ferrari's, Bentley's and Maclaren's with plates like NAS 1 and people tend to notice.
Cheers
Lee

Good luck to them.
He's done well, but is still a prize bell end.

Can't deny his great boxing ability.
If he drives around in a manner which is unnecessarily dangerous to other people and was guilty in this incidence, then he deserves a heavy penalty.

thing i find most worrying is that their first reaction was to bugger off.
i had a crash some time ago (not serious) and the first thing i did was to make sure the peeps in my car were ok and then the other car. as far as i was concerned the cars could be fooked for all i cared as long as everyone was ok.
i've a feeling that 100% of the folks here are the same so it must take someone seriously messed in the head to leg it from the scene of an accident.

I like the part where he claims he needs to drive for charity purposes and why he didn't want a ban. Aww, poor bugger. Ever heard of hiring a driver.
Shall be interesting to see what sentance he gets. "custodial" could refer to a nice open prison, though it does sound as though he might do some time in a normal prison. Would be interested to see how he fares inside, would assume some segregation, as I'm sure there are a fair few nutters inside who'd like to take a pop at a top boxer to show how hard they are.

if he is found guilty then he will go down
but hamed had and i do emphasise the past tense
amazing power punching. Im 18 stone and hit very hard and i doubt I have half his power or a fraction of the timing. I fear for anyone testing him inside
I do however drive moderately slower
