lol at all the tyson dick riders. He dodged lewis for years that lewis even had to take him to court. Tyson refused to fight him and was tehrefore stripped of one of his belts I belive. The only reason why he fought lewis in the end was because he had to for the money. Its was the only big money fight left for him. He dodged hollyfield for years aswell and they even made a program about tyson dodging. Dont get me wrong he was a class fighter but when he couldnt bully other people he lost. Lewis and hollyfield didnt allow themselves to get bullied. So how about you so called boxing fans get your facts staright. Tyson is still one of my favourite fighters but atlest I dont have my head up his ****.

I'm not backing anything AudiLover says but you said name one fighter Tyson avoided and I named one so no need for your "Yes and?" comment, it was an answer to your question

Tyson didn't fight til '95, did you expect him to step right into the ring with Bowe?
Its a fight I would have liked to have seen happen and would have ranked up there with the Tyson fights with Holyfield and Bruno for me which were my favourites.

This thread has lost sight of what's important. Namely Hamed being sent down for nearly crippling some poor sod through his dangerous driving. Hope he gets a nice long sentence somewhere unpleasant and finds the degradation more than he can cope with. With luck he might hang himself.
As far as his boxing goes I used to enjoy watching him play his tricks on solid journeymen types like Ingle but as I thought all along as soon as he steps up into world class he'd be exposed for what he was- namely an exhibition fighter with no heart. The Kelly fight showed his weaknesses although his punching ability eventually carried him through.
After that Barrera destroyed him and showed the difference between world class and showboating ***.
Now Hamed is just a fat ponce facing some jail time. He's found his level at last.

He might have a good right hook, but when it comes to driving, by the looks of it the prat has not got a clue, lock him up and throw the key away, my sympathy to the family invovled
