I'm in there with 311bhp , TD05 Turbo, uprated fuel pump, decat, induction kit yada yada yada, still runningon the original clutch gearbox etc, trying to sort a tek 3 remap now to get the most out of it all Cost a couple of grand less than buying an STI and it's more fun doing it yourself

Im sitting with 335bhp/311 but having a few problems with boost flux changing the 3 port for an apexi avc-r should sort it and give me a bit more.running standard internals/clutch daily driven to work no problems up to now.

im running 320/320 ish on scooby clinic rollers sill on std clutch and box

best tip is to pick your mapper well, and listen to what he says

and, its a turbo - a bigger turbo will give more lag. I wont be going bigger than the vf35/p18 - he says now

And who did the work, and also did the mapping?
Thanks.

spec

vf35 with p18 ehaust housing
sti pink injectors
powerstation headers
aps topmount ( only because the sti one i got second hand had a huge hole in it )
rcm induction kit
tsl sports cat downpipe and hks hiper cat back

and all mapped by Bob Rawle and put together by Roger clark motorsport and like a few others on here, I would not take my car anywhere else and yes I have had work done at most the scooby garages in the midlands

wouldn't change anything, apart from the gear box which is crap, but then I could run more power.... here goes again

True, when I bought my WRX I couldn't afford the payments on an STI. Now almost two years later, my car is worth pennies (import, you see ) and I can't warrant having to find another £10k minimum for the seats/rear wing and 75bhp extra.

Got the (new) seats and 4 month old rear spoiler/STI bootlid together for £680 (legit)...

Reckon that I can beat 300bhp for well inside £2k.

By the time I'm finished my WRX will have cost more (or very similar) to an STI - but at least in three years the car will be paid off...don't fancy starting again with finance.

You pays your money...
