As long as you use cold clean water and no soap/shampoo it'll last. The dirt/dust can actually be rinsed off with a garden hose if you have half decent pressure.
I used to use the gold class, but nxt is far easier to apply and buff

ive just bought some and tried it, it is very easy to apply and looks lovely.
ive tried auto glym.......colour magic.........mer........zymol and nxt seems the easiest work with
altho mer is good when you put it in water and rinse the car then buff it off when dry
zymol looks good also and smells so sweet
autoglym is hard work but do recommend autoglym top gloss (gold colour) and colour magic is average
i use those micro fibre cloths, get them from poundland.......guess how much quality cloths

yup as you say...
washed it with swissol car bath, and most of the shine (mainly under the impact strips on the lower half of the car) has gone.
re NXT'd it, then gave it a coat of swissol shield over the top

tried sum tech wax on mine today as a test, mine was done with gold class last week
it does seam to cover the slight swirls and stuff better, and a few people did say the red back end looked deeper and more shiney.
defo looks "diffrent" from the gold class i normally use, seams to look "newer"

used some Tech Wax on My scoob today..its black and I was really impressed.
We'll see how long itlasts.
I found the cheap blue Zymol....pretty good on My red teg. LAsted a couple of weeks at least in good weather.
Where do you get swissol from????

Your post must have started a panic buy because ive been to 3 different Halfrauds and non of them had any, just empty shelves.
I could have bought Swissol with the money ive spent in petrol driving between stores !!!. Might just go back to fairy liquid and a brillo pad (no dirt left then)
mickp

Mine lasts a while, I use the NXT shampoo aswell and rinse off with cold water and then dry it with the Meguiars drying cloth which is MUCH better than a chammy leather. Heres mine after tech wax

Bought an Auto Glym Valet pack a week or so ago, and some of the stuff in it is excellent, stuff I'd never have bought seperately.
The Intensive Tar Remover is great stuff, certainly got rid of a lot of hardened tiny specks of bird droppings that everything else has failed to shift (show up a lot on a DBM bonnet!) - also pretty impressed with the Super Resin Polish & Glass Polish. The shampoo is OK but not as good as Meguairs soft wash gel.
I'm not too impressed with my Meguiars drying towel. I had been using the 3 step system, the paint cleaner didn't seem to do a lot, the polish was OK but the wax was great, although is a bugger to get out of tiny gaps when dried.
The Meguairs clay bar is a bit of an Enigma - it doesn't seem to do anything at all and first impressions make you think you've wasted £11 - but run your hand over the area afterwards and it's VERY smooth and the clay bar looks dirty. The quik detailer that comes with it is superb - especially on interior trim.
I don't think you can stick with one manufacturers products - I'm selecting the best products from anywhere to put in my valet bag.
BTW - auto express ran a test of 50 waxes not so long ago - Turtle Wax won - how many people have mentioned that so far?

I quite fancy giving the Swissol Samurai wax a go this year but the price is off-putting - the whole Auto Glym Kit was cheaper (39.99) and I got 8 bottles of stuff in it and a very dapper red holdall to keep it in.

Ive always used Auto Gylm in the past and cant fault it tbh, on every colour car i`ve had people comment on the shine and how clean they always looked
I was going to try the Meguiars out of interest but there wasnt any in our Halfords.
