Funnily enough, I've just got back from Blighty after a short trip and was thinking about this while riding on London buses.
Pretty much every single bus would need to be sold/scrapped because you can't have passengers emerging into oncoming traffic. I doubt many could be converted at all, let alone cheaply.
There would also be a massive increase in pedestrian deaths due to people looking the wrong way as they step into the road.
Lastly, changing from the left to the right would be an excellent excuse for the Govt to lower speed limits massively. I strongly suspect they'd never get raised again either.
