Yeah i agree Alan, don't get me wrong my car is quick to 100 but the secreaming engine on the motorway does my crust in sometimes (as well as my fuel economy,but i'm not that bothered about that).

It's a compromise between quick getaways and high cruising speeds.

BTW i found out today i would need a new rear axle as well as a new UK gearbox and UK diff making the thing a bit of a pricey do.

I've gone from a UK Impreza to a Evo 5 and have the same problem, but on the up side it does keep speeds down on the motorway

yeah i was on the mororway the other day in my my95 WRX and was doing 100mph at 4500 revs so my estimate of my top end is around 140 - 145mph

i thought it would be 150mph but i guess i wont tell anyone!!
