I do find it wierd how people appreciate the looks when it comes to scoobs, but then im an odd one out, as I dont like the way cossies look either, or any of the cars that seem to be craved after these days.
Anyway, im hardly the Suzanne and Trinny of the car world, so enjoy it, and if I see you on the roads ill be sure to give you a thumbs up before leaving you and your gold wheels for dust

I dont hold it against you, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, and at the end of the day, thats what makes life interesting. I dont know what you drive, but if we ever have the misfortune(joke) to cross paths, you will get a big cheesy grin from me

Wow corradoboy, a lot of that was said from the heart and while im happy you apreciate all that is ugly in your life, you do realise not everything is out of your reach?
There are cars that cost around the same as a Scoob that are good looking, and you dont always have to end up with the ugly girls, perhaps this is more about you than anything to do with cars? low self estime? self confidence taken a knock?
Counselling may help, but as you seem to content yourself with mediocracy, I feel that you'll be driving that ugly scoob till you pass away in it.
Cool thread this is turning into, and definitely seeing the funny side Steffi, if I do ever see you on the road I doubt very much id be able to blow you away, but it'd be fun to try

Before this goes much further - what exactly do you drive/ride?

Im not slagging off scoobs, im simply trying to understand how people can consider them good looking cars, when if you look at the big picture, I feel personally they are very ugly.
Its more just trying to get some reasoning behind the looks thing of a Scoob, which I genuinly dont get.
Good cars at going fast, but bit of a one trick pony that. Nasty interiors, average engineering (ie, take the turbo off the engine and its a very average 2.0l),bad seating position (for a performance orientated car) not nice looking, expensive to run, but yet they have this massive appeal to so many people, its interesting is all.
Ill probably own one one day, have an S2000 currently, but have gone through about 12 cars in the past 8 years, so should at some stage try a scoob to see if the appeal rubs off.
