Default Drifty Nissan clips...

Cheers Andy!! Soz, didn't notice the PM had a message showing!! There are 5 clips altogether (plus one of you in the S2000 - not the spin out unfortunately....), they are 3.49MB, 3.38MB, 8.52MB, 15.6MB, 3.62MB, 1.59MB respectively. Unfortunately, the longest one was a bit blurred at the end (damned auto-focus!!) but still highly entertaining!! Let me know how to send them to you (if you use MSN Messenger, i could do a straight file transfer to you, providing you're on b/band, as dial-up would take forever!!)

I was there when you told him off,

You said to him would you mind not sitting on that car.

Then you said its not a (could not quite make out the next word) seat

Very restrained if I may say so.

still he got the message

Ajax
Cheers Ajax i couldnt repeat the words on here m8

No respect, I was watching like a hawk yesterday when my car was in the SIDC club stand. So many people, esp those who are shall we say on the large side, will insist on squeezing between cars, when a gap really is'nt there.

I was'nt gonna stand there all day though, I had better things to do.

PS - If my other half saw anyone sat on the car I probably would have to hold on to him
Cheers little un
I was beginning to think i had a problem thinking and acting the way i did !
I must have been in a good mood
Believe me there were people there yesterday who would have been more p**sed off than me if someone sat on their car and i know it would have been a different story !

And for the person who calls herself louiserat why is that its your first posting and why make excuses when its obvious when you see someone sitting on your car.I can host 2 pictures up if you want showing all who were around the car !!
Both sides of the story ? As far as i'm concerned no one earns the rite to sit on anyone elses car its called RESPECT ! NO EXCUSE !
I'm not going to get into a slanging match about whos this and that,You all had every opportunity yesterday to air your views !

#32 what i saw at japfest
some man being abusive towards my nephew(who is not a chav as he works every night to earn money to keep his family well looked after and does not own 1 soveregin ring)who incidentally got kicked by my THAT CHILD (who is my daughter) and moved back at the wrong time so really it was my daughters fault so should a 16 month old baby be praying ?

this man also was running my husband down for taking my daughters pram out of our car! (are prams not allowed?)it is ver hard having a child at an event like that and we were doing our best

i can see both sides of it ,but, maybe should of been dealt with better we were all sandwiched together ,nobody wants upset just a nice day out i was a little angry cos my daughter was there and just didn't want her to see that also you can't say a bad thing against people you don't know

had a great day though some stunning cars from all the clubs was so good seeing so many cars on the track some good trade stands was worth the drive

I saw a distinct lack of organisation from the staff at CC.I counted at least 6 people with paddock passes refused entry to the paddock and had to park miles away in the public carpark.Waste of time ordering tickets months in advance i wont be doing that again.Other than that wasnt too bad a day weather was crap as usual which made everywhere like a swamp but a good selection of cars.I hope the weather improves for Rally day

What is the point in issuing stand passes if anyone can get into the stand arena at the expense of genuine pass holders awful organising by the looks of it

We will be taking this up with the organisers

Marshalling was very poor this year IMHO

Club passes were mixed up

These issues will need to be resolved well before next year

closer for who??? I agree Castle Combe is a great venue if they can get the staff instead of clueless morons who cant tell the difference between a CLUB pass and joe public trying his luck to get in.Still was a good day apart from that shambles.Roll on rally day

Why was there a massive que over 1 hour from 1 direction ?? and nothing from the other ??
I saw the old bill shaking his head and walk off...Total mahem.
Then the first entrance with that pass indicated wasnt the sidc so had to come off and go to the next ?
Have been to many many events Sorry but this gets top marks for the most disorganized.

To be fair a lot of people arrived late, we left Plymouth at 6:30 and got caught in rain so heavy we could not see the car in front and road works with 40 limits, a few others had the same problems. Hence que problems getting in, and we saw some people walking out with passes in their mits, obvious why. Can't blame the marshalls if people cheat their way in.

Lee.

Maybe in future reg numbers should be given at the time of ordering tickets so that the car passes come with your own reg in blg bold letters so no one else can benefit from using them.

Thumbs down

I went to Japfest 2003 - no problems getting in, lots of traders with many selling stuff for Imprezas. This year, it took an hour & 15 minutes to get in from Swindon (which ordinarily is a 20 minute journey), with no obvious reason for the delay, & traders dealing mainly in a "Stateside" look i.e. massive rims & more chrome than a B&Q Warehouse bathroom section. Disappointing, especially considering that there were more Subarus there than anything else, it seems a lost opportunity for many of the well known Scooby aftermarket suppliers who couldn't be bothered to turn up. And what the hell was going on in the catering department? Up to 40 minute queues for an overpriced burger? The event could have used maybe 3 or 4 times as many food stalls.

A few years back, there used to be a quicker way into Castle Combe, just off the dual carriageway coming into Chippenham, at the 1st set of traffic lights. Seems the signage has been removed. Perhaps an agreement with the village & circuit, or coppers? Either way, I'll be looking to try that route on Rallycar Day.

You should try the track canteen instead of the burger bars, had to que to 15 mins, but in the dry and was treated to full breakfast for £2.95
