Cheers mate, that would be great if you could PM me the details when you get them.

RE: car in Stevenage......The plan was: the guy was going to look over the car on Sat morning and if he liked it I was meant to go and check it over. The guy liked the car so much that he decided to buy without having it checked. I recommended that it be checked but he declined the offer as he was happy with it.

He said a couple of bits needed doing at the dealers before the sale, like having the ecu checked to see if it was std and a the fliptop lid on the dash replaced as the old one is missing (which to me suggests that it may well have been modded in the past and the fliptop lid replaced with gauges). It also had an aftermarket bb but he didnt know whether the cats were present or not.

He's leaving it a bit to chance but seems happy to do that and is reassured by a 2 year RAC Warrantee. I hope he doesnt get stuck with a bad one.

Doesn't know much about scooby's and buys one without having a proper inspection Like you say, hope he doesn't get stuck with a dud. Wanted to know if it had 300BHP or not

Will look for North Weald details tonight and PM you tomorrow (hope I kept the leaflet).

Very likely if something doesnt come up. Will be worth seeing the differences on the 60ft times on a airfield vs santa pod.

I assume they have detailed timing slips similar to pod?

Do you know the costs/restrictions/rules etc

13.59s @ 105.6mph - UK MY95, 270ish BHP. May get a better result on a sticky track instead of a wet local road!

Neilo, no it doesnt, a couple have run at pod this year and then run at elvington and their times have been slower.

The difference is, traction at elvington is consistent, even when its peeing it down.

Yup, that was me

Was it the old school Sierra Cossie? If so, that wupped my **** on my first run, I kangaroo'd off the line (first ever run I might add) and made a right hash of the start, worse of all, it was driven by a bird

Might have to pick your brains on that momo handbrake cover, fancy one of those to finish the interior off.

Bob, don't get detailed times like at the pod, only terminal and 1/4 mile (although I did get a reaction time on one). Good thing is you're handed a slip at the end of each run so no waiting around.

Cost is a £10 entrance and £15 to raise (£25 in total ) You need a crash helmet but they hand you one on the line if you don't have your own.

Thats a bit of a bummer. Same cost as Pod but less facilities and more restriction.

Good time. You've got room for improvement there on your launches by the look of it, so I wouldnt be suprised if you're running mid-low 12s soon.

I ran a 12.60 secs @109.8 with a 1.88 60ft (hitting limiter in 3rd)

then ran 12.57 secs @112.47 with a 1.971 60ft which was a little confusing. Either way there is room for improvement for both of us and I dont think they'll be very much to seperate the two cars.

What spec you running btw?
