fair one, but there are plenty of other target sports available...archery, small bore, rough shooting, trap shooting, etc...i just worry sometimes that people want to own a pistol especially for the wrong reasons...

if I wanted a desert eagle I'll get one paying cash not using my credit card to buy on line.
it easier to make a few phone calls and get a real on tomorrow than spend hours on the net looking for a replica.

Webley make them although you will need to find a reseller.
Just re read you initial post, these have the crappy wooden handle, might be worth speaking to Webley re handle options.

Having shot a real .45 Desert Eagle all I can say is they weigh a bloody ton ! There's a smaller IMI pistol called Jericho which is like a reduced version of the DE, chambered for 9mm parabellum (IIRC, before the ban) might be better with one of these if they do a replica. Or a Glock, they weigh half as much.

Brihoppy, small bore is not available as a pistol sport, only rifle. Infact the only pistol firearm's now legal are muzzle loading. Saying that there are some interesting muzzle loading pistol's being manufactured using modern nitro based powders and a 5 shot 'muzzle' loaded breech block magazine..!
Who knows maybe one day I'll be tempted back to the jumping through hoops and pound of flesh of owning a firearm certificate..!
Until then I'll make do with my 12b P/A mossberg.

Either .357mag, .44mag or .50AE (action express for those interested, .50cal case on a .44 rim, hence the same machine parts used to make bolt face etc...).
