I was not meaning anything by my post , just recall a number of "low boost" type posts about wrc.

just to add , I did not want to tell someone to screw in a dawes unless there was decent cooling. basically forcing a car to run more boost , with high intakes would lead to det.

I didn't 'read' anything into your post it's just that having been there, I was quite impressed with their operation and felt they tried to give vfm as opposed to just turn them round as quick as possible like, dare I say, PTS at Luton did on an earlier RR day. One that Bob also attended

edit: BTW I also went to PE a few days after WRC and got very similar results.

WRC run 3rd gear as opposed to 4th at others.

....if you want to have your front bumper removed by car slipping on rollers

And I was saying the place was OK. I'd been there twice before, but not on a shootout, and they seemed fine, I was quite satisfied with them.

I think the guy running the cars was under pressure from the 'main man' Wasn't a good day by any stretch.
