Put the Scooby underpinnings with 350 lb ft 2.5 and DSG type shift into something like current Celica and I think it might just have some appeal?

(say, + £1.6k over STi cost) - so if Cyprus could kindly donate the car for say £22k on the road, that will be sub £24k for 400 / 400 road rocket - I havent got that sort of money, but will be in the second hand queue in a couple of yrs - will probably mod blobeye to c 350 / 350 with WRC or similar (a little sceptical how it appears these are the only tuners to get over 350 from std turbo though...)
I feel the need- the need for speeeeeeeeeeed...

an 02 or 03 will make 350 with WRC but only if the ppp is already fitted
you should see the power figures for the EVO, chck it out
i am also a little unsre as to how they make these power claims, would be nice to find someone who can confirm this, i.e had the work done and dyno run etc

I have seen the photographs at the top of the thread and am happy that they are real.
I posted the article to show how "on-the-ball" this weeks' Nuts magazine (Always First For Motors) is.
Too subtle for some I guess and WAY too easily confused

Front lights - cool
Rear lights - ok, in an RX-8 sort of way
Front grille - Nothing that can't be fixed with an aftermarket from bumper/grille affair
It would have to be a good price before they can get me to open my wallet for that!

Not your problem I know, but it confuses people and takes the thread off topic / around in circles.

Maybe someone local to the UK could do us a favour and give Litchfield a call to find out more info - arrival date, specs etc.

I didn't realise the car would be released so early!
I looking to buy a JDM STI so may wait a few months more for one of these facelifted models.
Any word on pricing?

To be honest, the PPP deal being offered on the current UK STi range would steer me towards that if I was a warranty concerned type of guy.
If we got 12,000 people to chip in a pound each, Litchfield would fly one over here on the 18th so we could all see it in the flesh.
