Apart from the atrocious riding and careless regards for others, the thing I don't like about bikers is the whole atmosphere of homosexuality that surrounds it.

The wearing of full-face helmets maintaining their anonymity like cottagers in a local park after dark, the full body covering leather suit reminiscent of a seedy hardcore gay S&M club and the bent over position on their bikes which screams "Take me from behind big boy!"

No wonder all other road users laugh at their pathetic ignominy.

And remember, in order for other drivers to predict the actions of bikers they would have to lower their own intelligence to that equivalent of a proboscis monkey.

If I had braked as late as I normally would, he would have been into the rear of my car, or in a field. As it was, I didnt, he stood the bike up, and as far as I can tell only just managed not to go into the kerb on the left.

I have no problems with bikes filtering, and generally move to let them past. The only thing that annoys me is when they start riding towards oncoming cars on the wrong side of the road whilst "filtering". If thats OK, next time I want to overtake a car, and the only thing coming the other way is a bike, please pull as far left as possible so I can overtake. We all know 2 cars and a bike fit
no i don't, but six inches will probably be an exaggeration. 'Six inches' on a bike is very different from 'six inches' in a car. Cornering from the opposite direction is certainly the area most riders scare me, suddenly the narrow profile of an upright bike coming towards you on its own side of the road triples in size and is laying down on my side of the road...

I think this is the bit of the highway code that relates to filtering on motorways, it rules out a bike filtering between lanes when the traffic is moving, point 242 is the one to look for

http://www.highwaycode.gov.uk/23.htm

And this is where it says filtering in queuing traffic is fine

http://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/ro.../car-users.htm

Under lane filtering.

My opinion....depends entirely on the rider and driver involved, some car drivers are stupid and some bike riders are stupid.

Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake. Thats called undertaking, not filtering. You always filter to the right of traffic. Only time you can filter to left is if you are turning left

Funny, from your amusing 'stories', I get the impression you probably deserve it.

Pah! That’s rich

Hypocritical, but expected, especially from you.

but, if what you say is true, that must make me your Doppelganger.

So why are you still here! And not on your 'nice safe Bike forum'

I would if I had worked 12 months but alas I don't feel the need to wait yet another 2 months to attain a discount card worth no more than £600 per year anyway... not for the way we are treated. Besides, they ain't fookin getting in in Poole

Quality and accurate well played

And the best they can do is hurl insults at you too - very 'close' these bikers it seems. In their leather. In their well buffed helmets...Hmmm
I'm 30 by the way and I hate bikers who have a bad attitude on the road...

Right oh so I shouldn't have to worry about bikers between say lanes 3 and 4 on a motorway when all of the lanes are doing about 50 or 60mph then, cos I've never seen that happen, honest

You have obviously run out of real arguments then,

I give as good as I get mate.

As far as I can see today is the 4th June, - the last post on that thread is the 16th May and I cannot have just posted what you say above???? can I???

You guys are now trying to justify your actions by making stuff up, just like you always do. If you cant find the truth, make it up

Unbeliveable.

We both come from Maidstone, so you might be lucky.
If you actually used your brain, you would I have no anti biker feelings as a rule, but I never let anyone **** up my back and tell me its raining. No matter what the situation. I dont necassarily mean anything to do with driving.

YOU guys asked the question (Anti-Bike Moaners) when you started this thread on, don't blame everyone else if YOU don't like the answer.

You came here looking for an argument, just like it says in here?:

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=431265

So whats your problem. You are anti car and afarid to say it.

All your comments seem to say the opposite.

I am not here cos I hate bikes, I just don't like other road users who put me at risk. I don't appreciate people calling me names or getting personal either.

YOU have the problem, not me!

I suggest you and RichieH have a good think and pick on a 'smaller kid' in the playground, if that is what really floats your boat.

yes mate thats what you typed before it was removed or you deleted it
i got it from e mail notification
feel free to call me a liar though i really dont care
as for running out of arguments-no but it seems you can only beat a dumb animal with a big stick for so long before it becomes cruelty
if you read my posts you'll see i find bad driving by any road user unacceptable
however deliberate aggressive driving that puts another road user at risk to life and limb(not just paintwork) because you dont like their transport choice should carry a custodial-after all, is it not attempted ABH or GBH which of course you are legally allowed to defend yourself against?
hence B2Z's point of try to knock off a biker and he will try to knock off your head.
