My father is canvassing his patients - especially those in politics, the media and the legal profession to work out the most efective way of having something done about it.
Whilst we are on the subject we have had two 'phantom' tickets in Westminster - for one of these we were able to produce 3 witnesses that the car not only could not have been parked where the ticket claimed but was not actually in London let alone Westminster!
On another occasion a patient who was in too much pain to walk was brought by a fully marked Ambulance car, by the time the driver had brought the patient up to us on 2nd floor and returned to street level he was just in time to see his car being towed away....
I have so may tales like this it really makes me mad..........
My parents are also appealing against a ticket issued by Islington (where they live) but as that is ongoing I won't give the details of that one.
