thanks to all for the fantastic and fun drive to the NBO. Was our first meet and we loved every minute of it.
For anyone who doesnt know who we are the wife was the one who wanted a pub to take a leak and settled in the end for the wall just near the cattle grid !!! (Women!!, pub hahahaha).
Once again thanks to those who pointed us in the right direction when we got lost and everyone for the most enjoyable ride!! Lots of turned heads on the way which proves that nothing can be quite as eye catching as 30-50+ scoobs burbling down the country roads!!
Cheers all for a great, but cold day out

Ditto! The best part of the day was the run up there. Even getting broken up and a bit lost was fun, especially for the Villagers One moan though, the f**king weather!!!! How COLD was it???? FFS, its JUNE for gods sake, not November. Lots of nice piccys of P1,s WR,1 22B, of the rest of our convoy, plus some video footage. I'll try and host the video stuff, but I'll have to dub it, as all's ya can hear is Andi (the girfriend) babbleing on about that Focus and ALL the other cars that got in the way of the convoy
Cheers John, and thanks again for a good run. (Nice Zorst by the way )

Aye a good day - Great convoy up - well behaved and - the random p155 stop was funny as was seeing Scooby Ste diving out of Julians car for a wee in the middle of nowhere!!
Anyway... God yes was it cold and minging weather! Didnt fancy the funfair or an outdoor BBQ so after 90mins of looking at some superb cars we decided to bomb up to Malham Tarn and Kilnsey to see the sights... Good roads and a good drive - was knackered when I got in at 5...
Hanley / Liddo - apologies for not saying hello - wasnt sure who was who and didnt feel too sociable at 8.30 on a sunday - will catch up soon...

I enjoyed the day too, glad you rasied a good amount
I was dissapointed that the Grade A Rally car was doing handbrake turns/donuts right near my car, and 3 children playing, and could have quite easily got hit
NOT a good advert for a company, or for the NBO
Also to the stupid idiot in our convoy who probably thought it was great to drive in the middle of the road on a blind bend with 2 cars coming the other way, forcing them out of the way, just as i was about to open my car door, to have it nearly taken off
We had all parked up as we were lost, and stopped for some *ahem* relief in the fields
Not impressed at all by that, it was a stickered up newage that did that, a stupid foolish manouvre that could have caused a serious accident, about time you sold it and starting using public transport !!!!
those two things are what spoilt a good day out (despite the weather being cold)

T'was a good day with quite a nice run up there and a good run home. Trying to keep up with Liddo and Hanley pulling away from traffic lights up a steep slimey tree lined national speed limit hill in the wet was interesting
I didn't even feel left out despite being in a S13 this year
We need to order less rain/cold and more sun next time though

OH, and thanks to the guy in the silver/blue new Astra for nearly throwing HIS car into a hedge and knackering his suspension, JUST to let the Scooby train go past

It was a good day, shame the weather wasn't a little better.
Pace of the convoy seemed to be up and down a bit (probably due to traffic), and as always I end up cutting someone up on one of the many roundabouts due to getting caught out by the need to go left instead of straight on etc (sorry steve).
Shame we always seem to get caught out by the petrol re-fuelers on the run up...!
Had a slight moment of panic when I watched someone overtake a caravan when a runner was on the other side of the road, fortunately there was enough space etc.

Just like to add that the convoy there was great. Kids loved it, waving at the passers by and being waved at in turn made each of them smile (me too). Thumbs up for the roadwork guys and nothing more to add for that **** who nearly collected some a few victims getting to the front of the queue whilst we were all having a pee break.
Hope the fella (Colin?) green-wagon (not too many of us wagon owners there, nice to stand out a little) with a full one months of ownership enjoyed his first outing.
cheers

As I approached the fella with the STOP GO's I thought he'd try to be funny and stop me as the last car (id have gone anyway like) - but he was cool - excellent
And the Astra in the ditch - haha forgotten about that! quality!
Yeah a top mooch over - well done John - and well done to everyone for making it a superb convoy + day out...
