No, it wasn't a political statement in the slightest. Yes there are wasters claiming they are disabled but then there are the genuine people who can be employed but still at present don't pay road tax.

Lets not forget that even people like Frank Williams who isn't unemployed also doesn't pay road tax. Ok, he can afford to but he is still exempt.

If disabled drivers become exempt from the proposed "Pay as you go" scheme then I can see them doing a roaring trade in "car rental" to their mates and beyond.
