Don't forget to make it a kind of 'time capsule'. A few copies of EVO and other mags, last weeks Sunday Times with the stuff about road charging, maybe a DVD player and some Scooby Shootout DVD's (won't be able to find anything to play them on in 15 years)...
Then in 2020 can open it up, get it started and get arrested for not having a nanny chip installed in it !

I am not bias either, but I agree one of Subaru's finest...
I owned an 02STi with the PPP and drove that for 24k miles but then was tempted by the looks of the 22B and thought I had to try one even though it is now an old car.
However I am glad I did, I am delighted with the car. It seems to me that Subaru broke the mold with the 22B, I think it is very superior in terms of its wieght, balance and performance and as for looks well, quite stunning.
However I have brought mine to enjoy everyday and thats exactly what I am going to do. It is too good not to drive.
I drive a lot of other cars but I am always pleased to jump back into it, it is just so easy to drive and so "sure" footed.
Today I drove the new BMW M5 for about 30 odd miles on some fast A and B roads and you know what - it did come close to the 22B - I thought its delivery was ponderous and its handling was in no way as crisp.
Just my thoughts on one of the greatest Scoobys. 325/400

Absolutely stunning 22B. Makes you wonder how you get from that to the '06 car. Nevertheless it seems extreme to lock it away for so long. I don't know if it will ever be worth as much as say a minto original e-type jag kept locked away from 60's/70s. Could be good for film work and the like.

Seems odd - what if you get run over by a bus in 14 years time??
or more likely the world has moved on so much and pollution/congestion so bad that cars like this are no longer legal to drive??
You could be missing out on the best years of your life with this beast!!

You must be mad!!! Cars are there to be driven. Imagine you took it out of hibernation after 15 years and then some plonker drives into you!! Not trying to be nasty but that would suck big time!

So many things to look at to invest in, even Isa's ffs would probably have a better return than a car.
Jeez, money and sense springs to mind here and look at my other car I can play with....expletive.

just out of curiosity, how much in it's current state is yor 22b worth right now?
If in say 10yrs time I was offered a 1998 22b for say £25k or a brand new MY15 STi for £30k I'm afraid I would go for the modern day car.
half the Chavs in 2015 wouldn't have a clue what a 22b is let alone now in 2005
If you don't drive the car why don't you sell it and let someone else enjoy it ?

My car is worth as much as someone will pay for it like everything else in life.
I suppose you dont know for example an Rs2000 / mexico / Rs1600 / is then and there over 30-years old now and still worth alot to people and money dont even come into it.
I know i would love one of the above and guess what the best are the ones that have been stored ?

I can see the senario now, after 15 years of storage in that loverly blue bubble you drive her out onto the A610, from the skies an uninsured illegal immagrant in his eco friendly gas powered hover-car takes your front end completely off, I`m sure Subaru will not have those parts lying around! How much is a wing 2k?
Drive it / sell it but dont hide her away ffs lifes too short.
