LOL - If ya cant cook Frey Bentos pies then all ya should be eating is humble pies 
My oven is currently only able to cook on gasmark inferno so I just pop em down the bottom shelf for about 40 mins and they're splendid.
PS - I would never willingly place animal genetalia in my mouth - but hey - those pies are gurrd....

richardg, I was about to tell this story when I read your thread. I definitely remember reading this same story when some dozy idiot didn't remove the lid of his pie when he was cooking it - it blew the oven door off when it exploded!!!

sure it's happened to a number of people. this guy claimed that the oven we installed was faulty and asked how to go about a claim with the NHBC.

I couldnt resist after reading this thread yesterday, called the wife and asked if there was one in the cupboard, got home from work and 20 mins later she served it up with beans and leeks!!
I'd just like to add for Pie Lovers the Frozen Tesco Lattice, Chicken and Mush and Steak and Kidney pies are also very nice.
