There is no way on earth (i assume you are human?) that you can go 6 months on a diet sufficient to drop 6 stone from 17 stone with no extra exercise and not loose a LOT of lean muscle.
I dont doubt you lost a lot of fat.....you may have gone as far as to loose ALL your fat (that you can) but you DID drop lean weight.

did the same trick and did maximum 1000 cal a day(mostly protien) with a hour of weights/swimming each day for 6 months
lost some muscle mass but gained strength big time
went down to 11 1/2 stone
once i lost the fat i wanted to and brought my calories back up the muscle size came back quickly (carb reloading?)
wouldnt really recommend this to anyone else though but it worked for me
(if you try it take multivit supliments as well )
im 36 now and about 13 1/2 stone-still got a 32in waist and a 46 chest
i find now as long as its not junk food,i can eat pretty much what i want without wait gain

All this diet talk by men instead of women is quite interesting and makes me think I might have to try it. Nothing to do with me not being able to do the strap up on by bike leathers any more
seems simple enough
1. eat less and better I don't eat fast food anyway just means more chicken less steak
2. drink less Never going to happen for me
3. Exercise . Perhaps, allways easier to say than to do
How hard can it be ?

Lets get this right.
You hate your job,
You can't drive (allegedly )
Your car is slower than it should be
You're addicted to gambling
You constantly have something or other wrong in your life
You ask for advice on here and generally disregard it
And you are overweight?????
**** mate, I'd have a look here and save the bandwith....

Always find it amusing those that talk about losing weight using drugs etc....
...isn't the main aim of losing weight about attaining a healthier lifestyle etc? So drugs form which part of this? The side effects surely lead to a long term UNhealthier lifestyle do they not???
If you can't do it the hard way (exercise and healthier eating), is there any satisfaction in cheating? Your willpower must be amazing .... NOT

- I can drive just fine thank you Briskly when I want to.
- Car is running fine now that I sought advice and took it
- I play poker part time and make money at it and my money management skills are excellent. I hardly even regard it as gambling now.
- I seek to continously improve myself, that my nature and who are you or anyone to judge it.
- I follow a lot of the advice I was given but its important to take internet advise with a pinch of salt
- I'm 6' and 13.5st, its hardly grossly overweight, I'd just like to be a little trimmer.
Diablo, you have continously had a go at me on Scoobynet for years but nevertheless I tend to take what you say generally as lighthearted and not mallicious. Good day to you As for PG though, f*ck you you ignorant pr1ck

PG is of the opinion that people shouldn't discuss things on a discussion forum. Tosser.
SB no offence but since you are a planning officer and work for the council I know already that you are thick as **** ugly slightly demented and destined to lead a miserable life annoying people demanding insane changes to planning applications for no reason other than you have to demand some pointless changes or you are not doing your job properly.
(wanted to say that to a planning officer for years)

I really do pity someone who is sad enough to go over the same thing time and time again, coming on here and telling how woeful their life is and then drag it out to a 10 page thread by repeating the same inane crap and thinks that most of us really care when the truth is most read it and think "not this **** again!"
If there is a "problem in my life thread" and I can relate to it then I will try and help..wont really care but I will try and help. SB on the other hand comes away with the pettiest of ****e. Not necessarily looking for advice nor seeking resolution to a problem but just looking to have all parts of his life validated in a nice forum based group hug from his "mates."
I used to read them for a laugh but then after realising that this guy is serious with half the ****e he comes away with I tend to avoid going near any thread I see him involved in. The only reason I posted is that someone else whom also laughs away at the pathetic postings of this boy mailed me the link.
I never thought it possible to grow to dislike anyone through the medium of a forum board however SB has proved me wrong.
As for the "tosser" thing, fair doos, you are entitled to your opinion and your personal attack has scarred me in a way you could never imagine
