Haven't read all of this but as a fellow Scoob owner Jeff, welcome aboard. I admire your courage in coming right out with your sexuality straight away. I'm surprised you are surprised at some of the comments you have received though.

Although we live in the 21st century some attitudes just don't die. It's ironic that some who express homophobic views do so because they are not secure in their own sexual identity, which is a shame.

Hope you enjoy your Scoob and can learn some useful stuff from this board (the Technical forums are excellent). Also take a look at the SIDC site as an additional resource.

Wow - what an introductory thread. On SN there is a broad range of views and opinions from one extreme to the other and not many who ask for something that makes them a minority go asking for their own forums within it.
I am not homophobic - at least I'm not scared of poofs - I just pity the ones who put on the squeaky voice, limp wrist, lovey darling, so far out of the closet they've forgotten where it is types.
Jeffs you seem to be in this category and just using the fact you own a scooby to adopt this board for any sexual opportunities which is incredibly sad IMO.
The politically correct will have a pop at me for being anti gay, but that's because in the UK now its trendy to be pc. I am suprised and dissapointed that a thread of this kind has been left to run and am glad to be able to ignore your future contributions to this bbs.
