Quarter mile times - dissappointed. Help

another couple of questions for any1 that might be able to answer...

i think ive read that it is best to launch the car with the dccd fully locked and then open it up once moving.... is that true??

i really have no idea what sort of rpm i should be changin at??

The longer you take to change gears the more the revs will drop, so yes, it will effect lag.

Blocking the dv shouldnt effect the map. The gains would be smaller on a TMIC than on a FMIC.

No idea what RPM you should be changing at. Do you remember when the power was tailing off when it was mapped? Where is max boost held to? Best to ask Andy really as he mapped your car. Mine revs to 7k max and I change at 6.5k.


No idea about dccd as I dont have fancy bits like that on mine

lol... fancy bits are obviously not needed to have a quick car though

will ask andy about the rpm when he gets back of holiday..

i think i remember andy saying that the best power range was from 4k to 6.5k.
