For the record, his music sucks big time.
IMHO.

My
was at your statement. I would have done that to anyone who displayed the unhealthy adoration you did for someone who, guilt aside, is obviously as weird as that guy.

As for his music millions of people across the world recognise it as the work of a genius, they are right and you are wrong.
Michael will be there long after others have gone.

JeffS, sorry, but you do sound a little misguided, its a bit freeky to consider that you know a mans innocence when you've never actually gotten to know him well.
The "life" you've followed is a carefully constructed life that his PR want you to see, and whatever candid interviews or details you think you've read, these will have been carefully present, and rewritten to present the image of MJ they want to.
Dont for a minute think that because you're a fan, you have the whole story, as that does make you sound a little wierd, like those fans that dress like him, get plastic surgery etc, you've been manipulated by the PR, his music is pretty good, but to give the man any more adoration than you would any good song writer is misguided.
And music is a very subjective thing, some people love MJ's music, some dont, and the the fact that millions of people do doesnt automatically make them right. Just think how many copies of the annoying Frogs singles were sold for instance.

Just because a court of law say he's "not guilty" does not mean his is emphatically innocent of the crimes, it means the legal team did their job, and presented the case to the jury, which allowed them to form an opinion that caused them to find him not guilty.
He might be innocent, in the respect that he's not what the majority of us would call "normal" and lives in his own little world, and, to him, a man of 40 sleeping with a child seems innocent and normal, but to the majority of the world, it's odd and creepy, and could, just could, put temptation far to close to resist (if you're that way inclined).
I've also not seen a mention of the word peadophile in conjucntion with MJ, whereas in similar cases of molestation, I'm sure I've seen the word used, maybe because he is (was) a big star, that term does not apply. If I recall the term means "sexually attracted to children" and an accusation of molesting a child does seem to indicate some sexual attraction to children, so the term could/should be applied, but as said, it's not been.
Anyway, he's had his day in court and he's got the verdict he wanted, now he can slip back into his little ranch and do whatever it is the freak does on a daily basis, have a nice sip of jesus juice and slip into bed with someone else's child.

I don't think that Michael Jackson has intentionally fiddled with kids, but he is a child in himself, and kids are prone to 'innocent' games involving exploration fo each others genitalia and such like.
That said, I do not think that is justification for having young boys in your bed, but neither is it necessairly enough to send the man down.
I think the parents of any of the children that have been to Neverland since the Jordy Chandler episode are grossly irresponsible, and questions have to be asked about Gavin Arvisos mother. She is clearly a very manipulative and unpleasant person.
Personally I thinkn this will be the end of Jackson anyway, he is hugely in debt and will have to sell off large parts of his estate, and at 40 something, he is unlikely to produce any new music that has mass appeal, so he isn't going to generate much new revenue. There will always be that doubt in peoples minds as well, I'm sure that will hit any future tours or album sales.
He was a talented guy, but he overstepped the mark IMO, and now he will pay the price.
Geezer
