I thought it would be prudent to only do a half day (12-4) to give a bit of recovery time from the night before.

Can't wait now - looking forward to it Might get some of those gloves that have been mentioned...only £3 so might as well.

I arranged exactly this scenario (paintball for 1/2 day near newcastle) for a recent stag weekend. Absolutely WICKED fun!

Get them to give the stag a coloured overall so he sticks out. Make sure you get them to do a "stag hunt" for the last game. Its basically all your group versus the stag and best man. No mercy. Kill them over and over again.

Superb fun.

I went yesterday for the first time. bloody loved it.

I was doing a few rambo runs

There was also a shot off at the end to waste ammo, you all sit in an open field with only barrels for cover and wot anyone you want, team mates, marshals etc. It was wicked

I got a shot right in the neck from about 2 metres away.

<cackle>

Everytime I think of this I start laughing, can't wait.

I think it'll be one of those things I'll be half decent at. Luckily 2 of the other lads going are currently "crippled" so the pair of them will be cannon fodder!

Ouch - a bit sore today - got shot 3 times in the exact same place on the back of my shoulder.

The very first hit I had drew blood - got hit on the back of my hand as I was taking aim and the paint then splattered all the visor and I couldn't see a thing!

Great fun - will definately do it again, and considering it was my stag do I think I got away quite lightly...

Just the one bruise - on my ****, sitting down isn't very comfortable today.

Is that a laser sight on top behind the hopper?

looks a beast!

Saw that the place we went to also had night-vision goggles - now that would have been sweet!

Haven't played for years Always good fun shooting your mates Last time I played, one of the marshals fell into a huge patch of stinging nettles. Now this wouldn't have been a problem, except that it was a very hot day and he only had a high visability vest on and a pair of shorts . My, how we laughed (funnily enough, he didn't )

Red dot sight, quick and easy to use with both eyes open.
Just gives you a rough estimate to where the paint is going to go as they're not that accurate

LOL - Think I'd be quite good with Artillary after this weekend, got quite good at getting my ***** (ahem) into the air and to drop back down into the enemy base

Where to you usually play at Richie - we went to a place near Belsay through goballistic.co.uk. Got told by the taxi driver that there were places nearer to Newcastle but weren't as good.

TBH haven't played for years, just dug the marker out to tart it up ready for a mates stag do in a couple of months. Our side is playing to win, throat mics already issued
Used to play at a site called Operation Paintball near Hexham, Northumberland think they closed down ages ago.

Used to have an old pump action marker called a Phantom, not that was one piece of kit Smooth and accurate.
All 'pro' markers have electro triggers that fire about 17 ***** per sec with a half mm super light trigger pull Full auto still illegal in the UK
