Not sure about the bats this time of the year? I'd say with there only being about 30 mins of dark / night you'd have to be quick to see them

wouldnt the bats fly into the birds by accident, 'cos they are still up and shouldnt be?

maybe thats why the birds sing so late........so the bats know where they are

The problem is (where I live) the pigging dawn corus @ 04:00 ish or before - accompanied by cows, sheep & deer Sparrows are the worst followed by wood pigeon...

But can't beat living in the country

Bloody wood pidgeons.

With this lovely weather I've been sleeping with the windows open. At 5:00ish every morning I had a loudest cooeing wood pidgeon I have ever heard perched in the tree next to my bedroom

It got personal this week, when blearey eyed and rather peeved off, I got up. Went outside to the shed, got a spade. And whacked the tree truck as hard as I could...which scared the ****** enough not to come back 'til the afternoon.

Did it again today too.
