Well I must say it was a good day the sun came out just right for us.

Shame you could not make it in the end Rob but there will be plenty more for you, Rally day is just around the corner now that promises to be bigger than last years meet by the sound of things.

Well done to Kev... excellent parking and a good run down and back

Oil and Filter change goes to Danny and you don't have to travel 500 miles to get it

Oh and Sammy .... nice motor it sounds amazing to follow you need to let someone drive it for you and see what you think.

Home now, nearly 413 miles after I set out this morning!!!

Wow what a Great day, fantastic turn out, wheather good, have a nice tanned face from the drive back!!!!

Nice to see some cars that can't make it to other shows (up north,Pod Etc)

I'm sure this will be a regular for the show calander. It can only get bigger and better.

Well done to terry and the other involved .

Glad I don't have to travel to reading to get my free oil and filter change. turns out there in wales all the time for the group N rally's and will do this in the service area, gives me a chance to have a nose around

mmm, I doubt it, there rally car on the stand weren't that clean, in fact it looked about the same as mine before I gave the old girl a wash. I was trying to get the dirt/mud to join over the roof from wheel arch to wheel arch.

not a problem, Us english have thick skin, something to do with being crap at rugby

Nice to see a new face, car looks great by the way, not normally a fan of slagged up cars, but yours looks pretty good, change the back box and jobs a good un.

I'm sure there will be something up soon about rally day at castle combe, normally a blinding day.

As Danny said no worries at all and I am not English lol
Keep your eyes peeled for Rally Day and get on the Rally Day site and book your tickets along with your Paddock Pass for the car.... there should be a good crowd of us that day.

well i've had my rear near side rear top mount sorted out by David Hendry as it was making nasty knocking noises - however in the process of taking out my back seat they've scratched my offside rear wheel arch - lucky you can't see it when the door is shut but its not the point. Am waiting at the mo to see how they want to resolve this.

also went to Powerstation to see if the rave reviews i've been hearing for ages are justified. Have to say what a top bunch of guys and nice set up the've got. Ending up having Eibachs and geometry etc sorted by Nick (a welshman with the patience of a saint) and although the roads were too busy to really play on the way home the car does feel subtly better. Will find how much better on the weekend

Did you point the damage out to them or were they upfront with you?

Si

it was p*ssing down when i left and the car was right outside so i just jumped in - unusual for me as i normally go over it with a toothcomb but the rain was heavy!

I then drove straight to Powerstation and i hadn't opened the doors since washing it on Sunday so it definitely happened there - like most on here i know the car inside out. I called DHC from Powerstation. In DHC's defense i've sent Andy the pics so i will wait for their response before saying anything else. They seem a decent bunch and I'm hoping they will realise i'm not trying it on as the scratches fit perfectly with taking the rear seat out which is what they did.

Luckily you can hardly see a thing with the doors closed - but i know its there
