was me, there thursday/Friday/Saturday, GRRC Ball at Goodwood house thursday night starting with a trip around the race circuit in a classic double deck bus followed by lots of bubbly etc did'nt get into the FOS till midday with a slightly tender head!!
Just made it back to the hotel bar for a pint of Boddingtons just before the heavens opened, did see a lot of drowned souls trooping by.
Nice to see stirling/murry etc relaxing in the bar but still talking motors, hope i'm as active at their age.

Was there yesterday in the sun - lucky on that one.
Not in the scoob but in my modded spitfire (2L on triple webbers) which as it turns out keeps an elise honest up to 110 when the hood acts as a parachute!
If you are the driver of the Yellow Elise up the A24 to Horsham/Crawley let me know what you had left under your right foot as i was hooning it and you appeared to be enjoying my efforts.
Mine sounds better! but appreciated you playing!
Top day and olivier panis is the king of smoking those tyres and as it turns out, the clutch too!

We were there Sunday in a WR blue STi parked in car park S, saw a few other scoobs there too. There was a bloke wearing a Subaru t-shirt sitting behind us who looked familiar...

Had a great 3 days at Goodwood. Parking in the car park where you have to walk past the hotel on the way in. Was in a silver MY00 (was parked next to another silver classic on the Sunday) and there were more scooby's around than I think any other marque.
Did anyone see a new black M3 parked at the start of Petworth or near Goodwood after the big uphill stretch? I was driving quite agressively. over taking when safe etc... I saw the M3 from a long way back and he was over taking cars like his life depended on it. He took me and was a away. Seriously he was flying... then he was stopped in Petworth. Then he was behind me again after the big hill he'd obviously made a bit of an effort again though no where near as aggresive. He got behind me ( I was going to actually pull across for him) and he pulled over again.
Don't think this guy was stopping to answer the phone.. Think he'd damaged the car !! he was pressing on that hard.
Plans for a meet and a cruise down next year ?
