No, that would be if you borrowed the Justy while the work was being done

And another positive vote for ScoobyClinic here, they did an excellent job on my Legacy B4 after it got rear ended and saved the car from being written off thanks to their pricing. They also put up with it being on their lot for 3 months while Churchill pissed about claiming they didn't know it was an import.

50+ BHP extra would be a sizable increase, and, I guess value for money for those that it matters to.

£1200 to me, personally, wouldn't appeal .............. but, to plenty of others its excellent value and thats for them to decide - I'm not judging either way.

Hope it all gets settle amicably

I think cliomat wants to be thanking Scoobyclinic not slaging them as at 16:1 afr would certainly have killed the engine sooner or later. After all I thought thats what a re-map was all about getting more power safely. Any idiot can probably get 50bhp by putting a 10quid bleed valve on but I wonder how long the engine would last, Keep up the good work guys

Adam - the crazy loon who cant keep his excitement of having a scooby down!

Thumbs up DA SCOOBYCLINIC

I am currently having my first dealings with the Clinic, previously it has been only advice. Let me say after having BMW, AUDI ,SAAB's ect their knowledge, flexibility, drive for customers satisfaction is spot on.
How many other garages would allow you to view whats happening to your pride and joy, not that many! they have a good customer relations approach.

Get my thumbs up , adam smile.

Regards

funny that seeing as at 9 am this morning the owner of the vehicle in question telephoned me to appologise for his mates behavior! stating that he had no idea about the thread until someone rang him. He made the call to set the record straight and that he was very happy with his car and the work carried out, and now wanted to re-book at a later date for a turbo upgrade and map tweak to suit.

It does as Adam states, upset all the crew when someones not happy with our work, but upset is not the word when someone deliberatly sets out to rubbish our company for no apparant reason, in fact his original now removed post was in fact liable and completly uncalled for.

Again big thanks to all for your support, and of course you can count on us for the same.
Cheers Kev.
Alreet there Kev!

Please could you give me a ball park ££ for replacing the clutch in an MY99 Turbo Impreza.

Tis true, it's not all about the nice polished floors, glass and stainless steel that the main stealers spend fortunes on then employ some kid fresh out of school for £3.50 ph..!

We are mate Cliomat is not a scooby owner and if you read this thread you'll see why some respondents may seem a little frosty!

ill second that. My dads currently got his scoob up there,as his planning on getting it back this sat. We live some 130+ ish miles from the clinic, and for my dad to travel that distance must be for good reason...they are good at what they do 'run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts'. Plus you can find aboout the clinic is good commets. Their reputation proceeds them.

Anyone who questions their ability, just look how many threads / recommendations appear on Snet.

Cliomatt, if you're going to go to the trouble of dragging this thread back up again I suggest you do so providing evidence beyond all reasonable doubt that it was definately the remap that caused your mate's engine problems. Or even better shut the **** up and let your mate tell us the details seeing as its his bloody car!

Befor you make remarks like that matey boy,you had better have un-questionable proof,ie:independant tuner/engine builder reports etc etc....

All you seem to be doing on this site is taking the pi55 and stiring trouble, also ( and i may have missed this) has the guy who owns the scooby been on here yet to give his veiws?

Why does the red indian keep shouting when it should be the chief talking...

By the way SC,might be up soon for a small power hike

Once again, people on here feel very passionate about the Scoob (and quite rightly so) - don't rise to the bait.

We should all know by now (but rarely heed our own advice) - "DONT FEED THE TROLLS!"

I'm sure the SC are a very good, reputable firm, however the phrase goes "you can't keep 100% of the people happy 100% of the time".
You do what you can to sort the problem. Not much can be done after that.

I hope this all ends ammicably (and offline!)

I sent my car from Bristol to Scoobyclinic with a blown engine. (170 miles) Not knowing any of the lads there but just the reputation SC has with the Scoob fold. Got a call from them saying the obvious? (Crank and rod knackered) I asked them to fit an engine and ancillaries to give 350-400 bhp. Which they have done and the car although still running in goes very well and pulls strongly even without the turbo connected.
The Lads at Tiley of Bristol asked me to bring the car down to them so they could have a look at it, which I did. I was told by the Subaru dealer mechanics that they could not fault the job and they will be looking at doing this type of work soon. Prices will be a lot higher than SC’s.
I am also going to SC tomorrow for them to fit a 6 speed gearbox and Ultronic ECU and mapping. The car will be run in and I hope to see some boost on that boost gauge of mine.
I cannot fault SC and would recommend them to anyone..

BTW I did get a coffee when I arrived.

LOL!!! Haven't heard those

The closest I've heard was comparing a woman's love tunnel to a clown's pocket....... not quite the same

Had a call today around 10.30 am from a Mr Douglas the owner of the said vehicle.
Mr Douglas in a very jovial mood asked for a map tweek. He had carried out a few modifications to his vehicle since we last saw him and was now experiencing a little over boost. He was booked in for a map tweek and it was explained to him that it could be anywhere between £50 to £200 depending on the extent of the mods and the time taken on the dyno to sort it out. He seemed very happy with this and we looked forward to seeing him Tuesday.

Why on earth his mate Clitomat finds it necessary to appear on scoobynet simply to slag us off causing unecessary trouble when he has no grasp of the full facts is totally beyond us and as someone stated earlier is liable, we as a company have finally had enough and he will be hearing from our legal department.

Thank you everyone for your support, anyone out there who knows us knows we care.

Cheers

Suppose I better get my flame suit on!!!!
A flame suit would be nice!

Clutches are not a warranty item.

I could kill a clutch driving like a muppet in a day with a type R that's why clutches, brakes and tyres are not covered.

Can you imagine buying your new scoob and going on a track day killing your clutch and brakes, do you really think the dealer will replace these FOC?

Can you see our point?

Anyway how far away are you? come on down we have a new coffee machine now!!

Thought I better get rid - Not one to want to upset anyone.

I live in the North East near Middlesbrough and really want a good scoob garage to service my car next week - A specialist but there isnt any so its going to Subaru.

I do see your point totally with regards to wearable items. I suppose an offer of £100 is over and above what they would really need to do too.
