ps, Anyone else going to the well lane RR on Sunday? - Nobby is going on to see if it a) blows up or b)makes it's power!
This "Nobby" was not me. Some people thought I was going. Difficult when the car is still in bits

I'm encouraged to feel there was so much support even though I knew nothing about it. Especially the text from corradoboy at 6:30am on a Sunday morning - NOT!

Trust me folks - as soon as it's ready, you'll be the first to know and see it - I promise!

Hi Ian, apologies for the confusion, "Nobby" (No 'K' at the front!) of course referred to my Noble M12, which did run, slipped all the way on the rollers, backed off the boost to 0.4 bar due to the heat & made 407bhp (That'll be the big turbo's then!!).
Cheers
Steve

Well, Simon at the factory did say that on Noble track days "There's no way anyone was going to be quicker" than him, so it's looking like it's probably had the full treatment circa 445 bhp. Amazing thing is it still runs just 0.7 bar (Although the ecu backed it off to about 0.4/0.5 on the rollers as it was very hot) so it's hardly highly stressed (unlike the owner!).

Sorry Ian I texted (is that now a word ) so as not to disturb as most people turn their phones off whilst sleeping, thinking you'd pick it up when you awoke at a suitable hour

Mighty impressive Steve I really NEED a longer spin when you can spare the time, and petrol

Chris, how does next tuesday (19th) sound

No probs - only pulling your leg - I just shat myself when the phone went off. Helen was away for the night on a Hen Do so I thought something had kicked off!
