fatscoobyfella .... Thanks. I'll do that
************** .... insurance: Nissan Skyline R32 GTR = 540 [mods declared], Mondeo 1.8TD Ghia X = 1100
Try Swinton [which I will be doing later] as I have heard they give you 50% ncd even if it is your second car.

Are there companies who do policies for two cars where you can apply your NCD for both cars?

OK think the two models I have picked out as being the most likely choice are a Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic.
Which would be better and why? Seen a 1994 Honda Civic 1.5LSi hatchback with 80k for 1,199 and a 1995 Toyota Corolla 1.6 CDX hatchback with 80k for 1,150.
Do Honda cars have as bullet proof engines as their motorbikes?
Forgot to say this is really a post for Fatscoobyfella as he seems to have a lot of experience of what breaks and what doesn't.

Regarding reliability, the 1995 Toyota Rav4 we've had in the family for 5 years and 50000 miles hasn't skipped a beat. 90% short trips too.
