Being as you've mentioned it, we're moving to sunny Wakefield tomorrow but good old, we run things our way and we don't give a toss what anyone thinks BT, won't be installing the phone line until the 29th July by which time we'll be in Oz Even more of a problem though is the fact that no phone line means no broadband so looks like sneaky use at work will be the only way until after me hols

 

Old hat, seen a few of those around. Can we have something a bit more special, like....

Just got back from the Foxglove, went up there for a meal with Sarah. Got to say the food and service was excellent, although the car park was full, only 3 spaces left when we arrrived at around 7ish. Hopefully it'll be quieter on the 28th!!!

 

I wonder how many more of the WYIOC area scoobs have made personal visits to the Foxglove before we turn up officially?

At least they might recognise a few of us late on (hopefully for the right reasons )

The car park was busy when I called in the other Sunday afternoon but you'd almost expect that as it was beer garden weather... We might have to create our own parking regime across mutiple spaces as some seemed a bit tighter and the *** paper was made to breathe in by the bm z4 that parked next to me

 

I think the weather's not helping with most people taking advantage.. When normal service is resumed, then I think Thursdays will be as quiet as everywhere else..
I'll be going tomorrow for a meal.. So I'' report back on the car park capacity..

We did mention about the sectioned off area, but Kim said that she couldn''t agree to that as we should be treated like every other guest.. Fair enough, but I feel that bringing a regular party of 20+, should get some fringe benefits..

I popped in on Wednesday afternoon. I did invite a certain other WYIOC member who lives in close proximity to the place but he/she/it was "Too busy" with work (Yeah, course they were )

Had a couple of pints and sat out in the BG drooling over the menu. Must say the car park, whilst nowhere near full, was damned busy for a mid-afternoon.

Still, I'm sure we'll find somewhere to park the new Stickymobile..... (if/when it arrives)
