Actually what you said was:
which is a pretty damn stupid thing to say. The fact is you managed to talk a lot of **** (what the hell does a recent map have to do with going on track?)and in the process insult someone who was probably already feeling rather down on himself for smashing up his own car.
You called him insane - very nice!
It is clear to me that you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to technical things, and no idea how to be tactful and choose the appropriate words for a delicate situation.
He already admitted fault, what could you possibly gain by insulting him further?
I can tell you what you have gained, you have managed to make a complete tit of yourself in front of people who feel genuinely sorry for someone having made a mistake. You have also shown yourself to be a cruel and inconsiderate person.
ok so this isn't the crashed cosworth support centre, doesn't mean you should let loose with the insults.
Didn't your mother ever tell you to not say anything if you have nothing nice to say?
because if she didn't she should have.
Gotta say I am ashamed to be associated (as a 22b owner and 22b.com frequenter) with such a tactless and opinionated fellow owner. I hope you never make a mistake and crash your pride and joy.

shut up whinging adam ffs fact is if someone says he was driving like a **** then he deserved an off.Just coz only one person on here admitted that this guy was driving like a **** doesnt automatically mean everyone else thought he was a drift god it simply means that the rest of the 'eye witnesses' isnt a member of this forum.Ive never heard so much drivel on this thread in all my life
He admitted he was at fault, the eyewitness said he was driving like a **** and you lot still defend him and sympathise you need to get out more
ps not a direct dig at you adam but to the rest of the muppets on this thread

Fact 1 i never said you watched tv, I said it was droning on while you posted crap on here.
Fact 2 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...ghlight=redkop
one example of many of your post in muppets. literally pages of them.
From fact 2 one can assume that you are in fact a liar ergo, fact one is probably also a falsehood and you are a daytime tv addict. Quite where you get the fetish for butt and ******* from is another question, one which I prefer not to hear the answer to as it probably also will be lies.

Adam, what a self opioniated windbag you are. The air must be pretty thin up there on your ego inflated soap box. Im the one worried about being associated with you. Delicate situation? The bloke nearly crashed on the first lap and then wiped out on the third apparently. Was seen to be driving like a "t**t" and the eyewitness expressed relief that he didnt take anyone else out. Anything other than a abandoned airflied then thers no risk to anybody else. Now what was the reason? Either he was driving like a ****, there was something wrong with the car or something like oil on the track.
I find it quite a coincidence that one day he gets the car remapped then the next day he totals it on a track after a few laps, being that hes a good driver. If thats being technically naive then I bow down to your obviously Zenlike knowledge over everything that requires oil.
And after all, I only said he obviously wasnt brilliant at drifting, which is bourne out by the fact that his pride and joy was recovered off a wall.
Can see everyone standing up for the guy, yet an independent witness expresses other opinions.

thanks Lynne. theres a Nat day pass available now if you want it.
thanks for the support to from most of you.
First, i was not driving like a ****.
What does a **** drive like?
I was well aware that there were no cars in front or behind me at the time and that it was safe to do the driving that i was doing, getting it sideways.
i went in too early and i made a mistake and i paid for it,me, i paid for it,no one else.
This is why i do track days to drive like this on track and no on the road like some people do.
I was there last year in my silver saff cossie and did this all day, even got the best track car award for it,so, could not have been that many people upset with the driving last year.
At the end of the day its my mistake and my car,my problem.
Dave.

Ouch Glad to hear Dave & passenger live to tell the tale. Hope you get things sorted soon.
Think this thread is getting a bit long in the tooth and off the point now.

ffs nutta get off your high horse.
I don't give a damn if he was driving like a tw@t or not, I wasn't there, i don't know him and I don't care, all I am saying is the guy totalled his car and it would be more decent of you to show some sympathy rather than point the finger, especially after he admitted fault.
What are you gaining by hurling insults?

Adam, think you'll find the insults hurled at me, yet I do not see your polished compassion shown in my direction. Perhaps that is becasue you're so ashamed of a fellow 22b driver
And granted, Dave, it is your mistake your problem etc, but you weren't alone in that car.

Sorry to hear about the car, always bad news.
IMO Track days are where you go to have a play and see what the car will do. Dave has already said he had a look around and there was nothing about. He has also said that it was his own fault.
I hate to see any performance car smashed up.
Oh, and he had someone in with him, well i am sure that anyone who is a passenger on a track day knows the risks. I hardly think he will have held a gun to their heads.

Is it just me, or does this thread resemble a year 9 class room? (with no teacher present)
This IS a PUBLIC forum is it not? And people can come and go as they please, and reserve the right to express their opinions?
All that is happening here is a few guys slagging off each others opinions.
A bit sad and pathetic really.
Dave made a **** up, we all do it, and he admitted to it, something that a lot of us don't do! Fair play to Dave.
Hope you are back out on the track soon, just mind the barriers next time!
Chris

Gutted for you Dave. Such a shame but needless to say at least everyone came away safe. Top man for taking it on the chin as well........
Just watched the clip above. Bugs me that people have to get some satisfaction at cars going off and clap like idiots. Sure they wouldn't do it when passing an accident on the road but it seems ok here. Bugger the fact that you might be hurt.
I remember a guy last year having a quite serious "off". He got out in tears and everyone carried on cheering. Turns out he wasn't seriously hurt as first thought but had no trackday insurance. Certainly foolish but still no reason to get a kick out of someone elses misfortune.
Good luck with the next project.....

Symapthy to Dave and respect for the dignity with which you have behaved.
Zero respect to the tw@ with the 22b, I don't understand why you want to make such an idiot of yourself on a public BBS.

Im glad i do not have "respect" from half witted wallies such as bloke either.
