To *know* the shootings were true beyond any doubt you'd need to have fairly serious inside information from the security services themselves, not second hand gossip from a mate who was looking out of the window on Cabot Square. And if you really are privy to such information then it begs the question as to why you're posting it here.

Although there may well be ways of killing more people than with a portable tactical nuke with a yield of, say, 1kiloton, I'm not sure I can think of anything with more of an impact from a global "terror" perspective than a nuclear weapon. I know the chances of terrorists having such a device are small, and the chances the device still being operable without the regular maintenance a 15 year old device would need smaller still, but it's a worry nevertheless, because if they did I'm sure they'd like to use it.

I can't see it being of any harm to anyone, if people knew the shootings took place. I think the press should be able to report these facts
