So let me get this straight, you are a self confessed consumer of 'big brother' and you're calling me an idiot. May I respectfully submit you are therefore a fool and your opinion on any subject is to be ignored or pilloried, (p)rik.

You are right, oil levels are reducing, but, your obviously not as intellegent as you make out to be. The oil fields that have had there oil extracted are not empty, far from it. Each oil field that has ever had oil extracted has far more oil left it it than any amount ever extracted. The only problem is that it is so deep that todays technology can not extract it. A typical example of this is a oil company director was on television explaning that as much as only 10 percent of any oil field can today be extracted. The remaining 90 percent is left there cos it's too deep. With developments in technology they will in future be able to go back and extract more. This is a major point that the government overlook then explaining oil reserves. Why? so they can put up duty by blaming us for having the cheek to own a car.
So Pikie, watch a few more informative programmes, listen to the scientists, and oil companies and you might learn something, and stop watching Bodger & Badger.

No doubt your reply will involve some sort of name calling. Another indication of a lack of intellegence.

I work in the E&P industry (that's exploration and production)you dope. I'm afraid that the markets don't look towards science fiction when trading oil. Therefore your predictions about future technologies remain the wildest of speculation and irrelevant to this debate.

Now **** off and go and read up on the subject before making yourself look like more of a pr1ck than you already have.

BTW I'm at least intelligent enough to be able to spell the word.

If you are going to counter someone's argument by questioning their intelligence, run it through a spelling and grammar checker first.

They are for the weak minded, I prefer to just try and get it right. Although I'll admit I don't always bother with the correct punctuation.

I was being polite by not bringing to full attention the boys obvious illiteracy.

IIRC Oil Reserve describes how many years worth of oil there is currently known to be available based on current consuption AND current extraction methods. In the 70's it stood at about 20 years, currently it is more like 30. As technology improves and other un-explored areas are surveyed, we can expect this figure to either increase or remain static for a good number of years to come.

It's also worth pointing out that while Oil is a finite resource, we will never use it all, there will come a point when it is not economically viable to extract the remaining oil and alternatives that are currently too expensive start to become viable and are used in preference.

State the bleeding obvious for the plebs why don't you? It has nothing to do with the price of fish (or oil in this case)

Yeh, ok. That's the problem when trying to type too quickly. Mistakes happen. Just ask Pikie's parents.

So those repeated errors were finger trouble? I'm afraid sonny jim, that we aren't all as stupid as you. Next time you want to tell lies at least make them somewhat plausible.

That's a picture of some guy I used to work with posted for a piece of simple misdirection. Furthermore it was taken in 2001 and I don't live in the algarve.

The quality of the opposition on here is pitiful.

Oh you're still going then Alan?

Interesting how you only started denying that the picture was you after I started deriding the second picture (of the same person) you posted in the 'other place'!

Is it you? Isn't it you? Who cares. Either scenario is as believable or as provable as the other, so for the time being you can be the gappy toothed ex-pat!

To coin your phrase... OWN3D!!!11!

Also correct me if I'm wrong but the same character claimed to be a well published journalist the other day and now he's back to working in the oil industry again.

Pikie If you are so intelligent and great. Why the hell is your username based on such low life scum? Is it a good thing to be a drunken pikie? Hmmm if you really are a pikie and you are drunk then you must be even harder to understand!

Or perhaps it is your Father who was the drunken pikie? He must have been to Screw the Filthy ***** that your mother was to create this sick disfigured, illigitimate sour being. (you BTW)

So you are in exploration are you? Would that be exploring Scoobynet to see how much everyone hates you?! Or exploring your penchant for buggery? Have you nothing better to do than come on here and insult everyone? Have you no Camilla Parker Bowles pictures to ********** over?

Or perhaps you really do explore oil fields etc, this would give you the perfect excuse not to wash! - This habit of course being in the nature of your ape like mind.

If you really do not like people on here why dont you just go away? Or are you hated by everyone everywhere as at the moment you seem to be on about the same level as Aids, ebola and Saddam Hussien.

People have the right to be annoyed, Tax is annoying. Especially when you work very very hard and pay a lot of tax only to see it being wasted on pathetic schemes and ideas, low lifes etc who never ever work.

Before you say it, I do have a very good job. I spent the earlier years of my life wishing I earned more money. Now I do and guess what.... I now pay 40% Tax. So a kick in the groin for being good at something. You obviously had many kicks in this area for being so good at being an Idiot.

This board is for people to discuss their interests and exchange usefull information. Not for fools like you to irritate them. Perhaps we really should re name you 'Thrush' as you are an irritating little C**T.

It seems you have a lot of tention, you should see someone about it. Although you will have to let them know that you were gang raped when you were younger. Alternativly you could vent your sexual frustration on a nearby cheese grater. This would amuse us all.

Point being, nobody on here likes you. Nobody anywhere likes you. Go and annoy somebody else (yes I really am cruel to think that as that means someone else will be inflicted by your useless drivel).

Im not usually such a keyboard ninja but you really are very sad and probably very lonely.

You can write what you like, I dont care although its very comforting to know that there are people as hated as you being beaten up all over the world.

Thanks

I think what he meant was that he took a GCSE in writing tabloid tat, failed miserably and ended up writing lousy articles for inflight magazines to make ends meet. How he managed to land his present position of office grunt nobody knows (or wants to know for that matter ) but suffice to say he is a very tiny nano-cog in a very large machine!
