Shot man NOT connected to bombings
If you're not connected then you're innocent, hence asking for the clicky and the statment that killing an innocent man would have some pretty serious repercussions.

I believe the fare dodger was "Fined with Extreme Prejudice"

Stoopid git must have been very very VERY thick if he knew that he was being challenged by the feds and still chose to run.

My take is that he was probably a peripheral member of a group with intent to cause disruption in some way.

He gambled that he wouldn't get shot cos he wasn't ACTUALLY carrying any explosives, just thought he'd tie up resources by getting a few feds to chase him, but they wouldn't shoot him, oh no sir!!

I doubt its that simple Olly.

My reading is that he's not connected in so far as he's not one of the 4.

Doesn't make him innocent.

So again, like yesterday, we were fed breadcrumbs and still don't have a clue as to what really happened.

Police also states that, as with any incident which involves shooting, there will be a full investigation, and no details will be disclosed until that investigation is well over.

So we can speculate whether he just had a walkman in his hands or not until we are blue in the face.

im all passion baby they call me the passion fruit
LOL at Passion Fruit!

And thanks for the compliment.

One word of advice, if I may, just chill on use of the word Whitey, unless I bothered to read your explanation of it, I would think exactly what some of the other guys are thinking.

As someone else said, just stick to calling bigots bigots etc. I know you like to use the same means to respond to people that they are using on you, thats fine and understandable.

If you find something offensive, just use the RTM button and try to stay calm, just a suggestion.

Which is a downside of deleting threads (although I do understand why). OTOH, I think he was drunk as a kite, which is not an excuse of course.

your welcome bros and thanks for the advice bros if i call them bigots they wont know how it feels like to be called a muslim terrorist or all muslims r troublemakers or terrorists, pakis this or that, so if i give them their own medicine they should be able to stomach it like we do, but they cant, their weak not as strong as us.

and go blind to what they say and get offended by what we say and like i said bros whitey is not the white race its something else

and im gonna lay low for a few days so u guys keep on talking and have nice discussions

cheers

im aff to my falconry club

Picture this: President Khatami of Iran occupies GB. British lads get pissed off, contact ex-pats in Iran, Iran gets bombed a bit, makes Khatami rethink their occupation of our land, bombers are heroes.

Seriously, what the **** did you expect?
Oops, I missed this one.

The difference is, as I've been keen to point out, that during WWII the democratic majority were opposed to what Hitler was doing. The world in general thought it was a bad thing and they fought back to maintain the will of the majority of people in the world. History would appear to support this position. The terrorists, however, who are attacking London might number a few hundred, or a few thousand, but they are exerting infulence far beyond their numbers just because this is the purpose of terrorism and they have played the game very well. So, this situation is very different from special forces or resistance acting on behalf of the majority of the world population, here we have representitives of a very few trying to force their will upon the majority and trying to make themselves appear more important than they actually are.

The situation where Iran invades GB is an interesting one but, again, I would imagine that the democratic majority on earth would oppose that and would be willing to engage in a struggle to reinstate the status quo for the benefit of all.

It must also come down to motivation, and this is a much, much more complex area, in the sense that many terrorist organisations are, in effect, criminal organisations seeking income and control. In theory a country acting for the good of a population does not seek benefit from its actions but carries out those actions to assist a population in trouble and to restore "world order." The UK might argue that this is the case in Iraq for example, the war was costly with little potential for a return. This is very different from those controlling terrorist acts though it must be said that the people actually carrying out the acts may indeed believe themselves to be "freedom fighters" acting for their cause.
